Sales Development Representative   $100,000 USD/year

Description

You can sell without believing. You can also sell without setting real expectations. This role is for people who refuse both. If you want to guide families through a clear yes/no decision, set honest onboarding and ramp expectations, and use AI to raise the bar on how you communicate, keep reading.

Alpha Anywhere brings accelerated, mastery-based learning home. Students learn about 2x faster in roughly 2 focused hours a day, with progress measured through benchmarks and standardized testing. Families choose us because they want results and clarity, not vague promises. Your job is to convert qualified prospects into enrolled families and ensure their first weeks start clean, confident, and engaged.

This is not a narrow, scripted SDR lane. You will own the full conversion path from consultative discovery to close to early activation. You will also help build the playbooks the team uses, including AI-enabled workflows that improve quality and speed without turning messages into generic noise.

If you take pride in clean pipelines, crisp expectation setting, and high-integrity sales that customers thank you for later, we would like to meet you.

What you will be doing

  • Run consultative discovery calls that diagnose fit, handle objections, and drive a clear enroll-or-disqualify outcome
  • Own your pipeline in the CRM with proactive follow-ups, fast responses to inbound questions, and explicit next steps in every touch
  • Set accurate onboarding and ramp expectations before close, then guide new enrollments through early steps to ensure active engagement
  • Use AI tools to prepare for calls, personalize outreach, and increase throughput without losing context or accuracy
  • Build and share simple sales playbooks based on real wins/losses and performance data so the team converts more consistently

What you will NOT be doing

  • Cold-blasting generic sequences or hiding behind scripts that dodge real questions
  • Closing deals without confirming fit or without clearly explaining what onboarding and early ramp actually look like
  • Handing off a new enrollment and hoping someone else cleans up early confusion or churn risk signals
  • Working in a low-ownership environment where you cannot improve the process or shape how the team sells

Key responsibilities

This role exists so that qualified prospects consistently convert into enrolled families who start strong, understand the onboarding journey, and engage early.

Candidate requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to lead consultative sales conversations that set clear expectations and drive a decisive yes/no
  • Proven ownership of a pipeline or workflow with zero dropped follow-ups and disciplined CRM hygiene
  • Strong written and verbal communication that stays personal, accurate, and contextual
  • Hands-on use of AI tools to improve the quality and efficiency of sales execution (not just to generate generic text)
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-changing, ambiguous environment and still produce measurable outcomes
  • Availability for a remote, full-time schedule, working primarily within US Central Time Zone hours (some flexibility allowed)

Nice to have

  • Experience selling education, tutoring, homeschool, or subscription programs with a high-consideration buyer journey
  • Track record of building lightweight sales playbooks or workflows that other sellers actually adopt
  • Comfort using data to spot conversion patterns across stages (discovery, follow-up, close, early activation)
