Crossover hires from the top tier of education talent - professionals who refuse to coast inside a broken system. We’re building US school networks where excellence is the baseline, not the exception.
Qualification isn’t easy. Our assessments are built to identify the educators who can actually deliver results.
But clearing the bar opens the door to a role that matches your impact - in responsibility, culture, and pay.
If you’re ready, here’s how it works...
Your application starts with a short 15–20 minute conversation with our AI interviewer. This step confirms whether your background, experience, and qualifications align with the role you’ve chosen - so you don’t waste time on a position that isn’t the right match.
Just upload your CV and answer a few straightforward questions about your skills, education, and eligibility. The AI checks for essential fit criteria before you move on to the next stage. Final hiring decisions are always made by human experts - this first step is designed to make sure that you’re starting in the right lane.
AI education moves fast. Whether you’re guiding students, leading a campus, or building the systems behind it, the work requires sharp thinking, faster learning, and the ability to solve problems in real time. That’s why we use a 15-minute Cognitive Aptitude Test to assess how you process information and handle complexity under pressure. Each role has a target score based on its level of responsibility.
If you don’t meet it the first time, you can retake the test after six months. It’s a fast, objective way to demonstrate that you can operate at the level required in a high-performance school environment.
There’s more to great work than test scores. This step is where you show what you can actually do. You’ll complete a job-specific assignment designed to mirror real-world tasks for the role - for example, teachers could design a student experience, while school administrators solve a plummeting student outcomes metric.
Your work is graded blindly to eliminate bias and guarantee fairness. It’s a straightforward way to demonstrate your skills in action and prove that you can deliver results in a real-world campus setting.
By the time you reach this stage, you’ve already proven your skills through objective assessments - so the pressure is off. Unlike traditional interviews that rely on gut feel or repetitive skill questions, this conversation is about culture fit, not filtering.
Think of it as a two-way discussion. The hiring manager gets to know your working style, and you get a chance to ask about the team, projects, and expectations. It’s a relaxed final vibe check to confirm mutual alignment before moving forward.
This short, live-proctored session confirms the integrity of your earlier test results. It’s the same 15-minute CCAT you’ve already taken - just monitored by a trained examiner to verify your identity and ensure exam conditions are consistent for everyone.
Every successful Crossover candidate completes this step, from senior leaders to first-time hires. It’s how we maintain a level playing field and make sure that every score truly reflects individual ability.
If you reach this stage, you’re in rare company. This is the final step - where top education candidates step out of theory and into the real thing. If you've applied for an in-person role, we’ll pay to fly you out to one of our campuses to experience that role firsthand.
You’ll meet the team, interact with other high-caliber candidates, and see how we operate. It’s not a traditional interview - it’s a live evaluation of how you think, collaborate, and perform in a school built to challenge the status quo. For most candidates, this is the moment it clicks. You’re not imagining the job anymore - you’re doing it. And if you prove you belong here, your offer follows shortly after that.
