Campus Coordinator   $60,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is an in-person position based at our Austin, TX campus.

A well-functioning campus appears orderly, composed, and inviting—the result of countless intentional decisions working invisibly in the background.

Nova Academy is designed for students and families who demand excellence beyond the classroom. That standard extends into every interaction: the clarity of communication with families, the security students experience, the efficiency of daily routines, and the speed at which issues are addressed. This position ensures those elements function reliably, day in and day out.

As Campus Coordinator, you oversee all non-instructional operations on site. You cultivate family trust through consistent, transparent communication. You protect student safety by maintaining protocols and managing incident responses. You handle facilities, logistics, and operational needs so instructional staff remain focused on students. You also ensure that technology enables learning instead of disrupting it.

This is a practical, community-oriented position suited to someone who values diversity of task, accountability, and contribution. If you are motivated by resolving challenges, strengthening a community, and shaping an environment where both students and staff succeed, this role provides substantial autonomy and influence.

What you will be doing

  • Cultivating productive relationships with parents, students, and staff via proactive, bilingual outreach
  • Directing campus safety functions, including entry protocols, health response, emergency drills, record-keeping, and family notifications
  • Supervising daily campus functions including attendance tracking, transportation logistics, facility maintenance, and administrative workflows
  • Facilitating onboarding and orientation for new employees to enable seamless adoption of campus procedures and values
  • Administering student technology and campus systems, acting as the primary on-site technical resource and Google Administrator

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering classroom instruction or providing academic support
  • Mentoring Guides or contributing to curriculum design
  • Functioning within a tightly constrained or exclusively clerical capacity
  • Working in a static, entirely routine setting
  • Delegating issues rather than resolving them personally

Key responsibilities

Maintain the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of Nova Academy so that students, staff, and families benefit from a trustworthy, professionally managed campus environment each day.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (field of study is not specified)
  • Minimum of 1 year in office coordination, facilities support, site operations, or comparable operational functions
  • Proficiency with routine technology responsibilities including device configuration, troubleshooting, and account management
  • Effective written and spoken communication abilities
  • Capacity to balance competing priorities while maintaining precision
  • Fluency in both spoken Spanish and English for clear, effective communication
  • Authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship
  • Availability for in-person work in Austin, TX, or readiness to relocate

Nice to have

  • 3+ years in operational management roles
  • Prior experience functioning as a Google Administrator
  • Background in event coordination and execution
