LOCATION NOTE: This is an in-person position based at our Austin, TX campus.

Nova Academy serves students and families who hold high expectations for their educational experience. Those expectations reach beyond classroom instruction. They appear in the clarity of family communication, the sense of security students experience, the efficiency of daily routines, and the speed at which issues are addressed. This position ensures that all of these elements function reliably, every single day.
In this capacity, you hold accountability for all non-instructional operations across the campus. You establish trust with families by delivering clear and prompt communication. You protect student safety by managing security protocols and incident procedures. You oversee facilities, logistics, and operational workflows so that staff remain focused on serving students. You also ensure that technology enables learning instead of disrupting it.
This is a direct, community-oriented role suited to someone who values variety, accountability, and service. What you will be doing
- Cultivating effective relationships with parents, students, and staff via proactive, bilingual outreach and communication
- Overseeing campus security functions, including entry protocols, health-related incidents, emergency drills, record-keeping, and family notifications
- Managing day-to-day campus functions such as attendance tracking, transportation logistics, facility maintenance coordination, and office administration
- Assisting with onboarding and orientation for incoming staff to facilitate seamless adoption of campus protocols and culture
- Administering student technology and campus devices, acting as the primary on-site technical resource and Google Administrator
What you will NOT be doing
- Delivering classroom instruction or providing direct academic support
- Mentoring Guides or contributing to curriculum design
- Functioning within a narrowly scoped or exclusively clerical capacity
- Working in a static, entirely routine setting
- Delegating challenges rather than seeing them through to completion
Key responsibilities
Ensure Nova Academy functions with safety, efficiency, and reliability so that students, staff, and families encounter a trustworthy, well-organized campus environment daily.
Candidate requirements
- Bachelor's degree (field of study not specified)
- At least 1 year of experience in office coordination, facilities support, site operations, or comparable operational roles
- Proficiency with routine technology functions including device configuration, troubleshooting, and user account management
- Strong capabilities in both written and spoken communication
- Capacity to handle multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
- Fluency in both spoken Spanish and English with the ability to communicate clearly in both languages
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship
- Ability to work on-site in Austin, TX, or readiness to relocate
Nice to have
- 3+ years of operational management experience
- Background serving as a Google Administrator
- Experience coordinating and executing events
