Campus Coordinator   $60,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is an on-site position based at our Austin, TX campus.

An effective campus operates smoothly, remains orderly, and feels inviting—because someone is managing countless details in the background to maintain that standard.

Nova Academy serves students and families who hold high expectations for their educational experience. Those expectations reach beyond classroom instruction. They manifest in the clarity of family communications, the security students experience, the efficiency of daily operations, and the speed at which issues are addressed. This position ensures all of those elements function reliably, day after day.

In this capacity, you oversee the complete non-instructional operation of the campus. You establish family trust through transparent, prompt communication. You protect student welfare by managing safety protocols and incident procedures. You handle facilities, logistics, and operational systems so that staff remain focused on students. You also ensure that technology enables learning instead of disrupting it.

This is a practical, community-facing position suited to someone who values diversity of tasks, accountability, and service. If you find energy in resolving challenges, supporting a school community, and building an environment where students and staff succeed, this role provides substantial ownership and meaningful influence.

What you will be doing

  • Cultivating trusted relationships with parents, students, and staff using proactive, bilingual outreach and communication
  • Overseeing campus safety functions, including entry protocols, health response, emergency drills, record-keeping, and family notifications
  • Managing day-to-day campus functions such as attendance tracking, transportation logistics, facility maintenance coordination, and office administration
  • Facilitating onboarding and orientation for new staff members to promote seamless integration into campus procedures and culture
  • Administering student devices and campus technology systems, acting as the primary on-site technical resource and Google Administrator

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering classroom instruction or providing academic support
  • Mentoring Guides or contributing to curriculum development
  • Working within a tightly constrained or strictly clerical capacity
  • Functioning in a static, entirely routine setting
  • Transferring issues to others rather than resolving them yourself

Key responsibilities

Ensure Nova Academy functions safely, smoothly, and reliably so that students, staff, and families encounter a well-managed, high-trust campus environment each day.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (field of study is not specified)
  • At least 1 year of experience in office coordination, facilities support, site operations, or comparable operational functions
  • Proficiency with fundamental technology responsibilities including device configuration, troubleshooting, and account management
  • Effective written and spoken communication abilities
  • Capacity to handle multiple competing priorities while maintaining accuracy
  • Fluency in both spoken Spanish and English
  • Authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship
  • Readiness to work on-site in Austin, TX, or willingness to relocate

Nice to have

  • 3+ years of operational management experience
  • Background serving as a Google Administrator
  • Experience organizing and implementing events
