Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is an in-person position based at our Austin, TX campus.

A well-run campus feels orderly, inviting, and efficient—because someone is orchestrating countless decisions in the background to sustain that environment.

Nova Academy is designed to support students and families who demand excellence from their educational experience. That standard reaches beyond classroom instruction. It manifests in family communication, student safety, operational flow, and problem resolution. This position ensures those elements function reliably every day.

In this capacity, you oversee all non-instructional operations across the campus. You establish family trust through precise, timely correspondence. You protect student welfare by managing safety protocols and incident procedures. You handle facilities, logistics, and day-to-day operations so staff remain focused on students. You also ensure technology enhances learning instead of disrupting it.

This is a practical, community-oriented role suited to someone who thrives on variety, accountability, and service. If you find fulfillment in resolving challenges, supporting a school community, and building an environment where students and staff succeed, this position provides substantial ownership and influence.

What you will be doing

  • Cultivating positive connections with parents, students, and staff via proactive, bilingual outreach
  • Directing campus safety functions, including entry protocols, health events, emergency drills, record-keeping, and family notifications
  • Supervising day-to-day campus functions including attendance systems, transportation logistics, facility maintenance, and administrative operations
  • Assisting with orientation and onboarding for incoming staff to facilitate seamless integration into campus procedures and culture
  • Administering student technology and campus devices, acting as the primary on-site technical resource and Google Administrator

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering classroom instruction or supporting academic teaching
  • Mentoring Guides or building educational content
  • Functioning in a narrowly scoped or exclusively clerical capacity
  • Working within a static, entirely predictable setting
  • Transferring issues to others rather than resolving them yourself

Key responsibilities

Guarantee that Nova Academy functions safely, smoothly, and reliably so that students, staff, and families encounter a high-trust, professionally managed campus daily.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (field of study is not specified)
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in office coordination, facilities support, site operations, or comparable operational positions
  • Proficiency with fundamental technology responsibilities including device configuration, troubleshooting, and user account management
  • Excellent written and spoken communication capabilities
  • Capacity to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining precision
  • Fluency in both Spanish and English, spoken and written
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship
  • Availability to work on-site in Austin, TX, or readiness to relocate

Nice to have

  • 3+ years of experience managing operational functions
  • Background working as a Google Administrator
  • Experience organizing and delivering events
