Enterprise Retention Manager   $200,000 USD/year

Description

The future of enterprise renewals is being rewritten. The most capable professionals won't waste time on administrative tasks—they'll focus on training the AI that automates them.

This role breaks from conventional enterprise renewals work. You'll take ownership of Trilogy's highest-value customer accounts while collaborating with Fiona, our AI-powered renewals agent. Fiona manages preparation tasks, analytical work, contract processing, and routine follow-ups. Your focus is on what truly drives outcomes: executive relationships, strategic commercial decisions, sophisticated negotiations, and the judgment calls AI cannot yet deliver. Each renewal you execute simultaneously trains Fiona toward greater independence, strengthening the system through every customer touchpoint.

Trilogy is constructing an AI-first operational framework throughout our software businesses. We reject the notion of AI as an add-on to legacy workflows. Instead, we architect processes around AI capabilities and deploy human expertise exclusively where it delivers maximum value. In this position, you'll help establish what enterprise renewals become in an AI-native environment while safeguarding millions in annual recurring revenue from strategic enterprise clients.

If you're a seasoned enterprise renewals professional who excels in executive-level dialogue, views AI as an amplifier of capability, and prefers building tomorrow's model over preserving yesterday's, we want to speak with you.

What you will be doing

  • Take ownership of executive-level relationships and commercial discussions for high-stakes enterprise renewal portfolios, including multi-year agreements valued in seven figures.
  • Collaborate directly with Fiona, Trilogy's AI renewals agent, leveraging your expertise and customer insights to systematically enhance its capabilities and operational independence.
  • Assess customer wellness, usage patterns, commercial track record, and business exposure to proactively secure successful renewals.
  • Leverage Salesforce and AI-enabled processes to sustain precise forecasting, surface renewal threats early, and concentrate intervention where human judgment delivers the highest return.
  • Convert insights from customer interactions into scalable enhancements that elevate renewals system effectiveness across the portfolio.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Handling manual contract preparation, approval tracking, or repetitive clerical activities.
  • Overseeing transactional, high-volume renewals or small-to-medium business portfolios.
  • Pursuing new customer acquisition or working toward traditional commission-based sales targets.
  • Developing production-grade software or constructing AI algorithms.
  • Building or supervising a large renewals team rather than directly shaping the most critical customer results.

Key responsibilities

Take full ownership of Trilogy's highest-priority enterprise renewals while driving continuous enhancement of the AI infrastructure that powers superior retention, operational efficiency, and progressively autonomous renewal execution.

Candidate requirements

  • Direct experience managing enterprise renewals or retention for B2B software clients with individual accounts generating at least $100K in annual recurring revenue.
  • Documented accountability for quarterly retention metrics or Net Revenue Retention objectives, reliably delivering at least 90% NRR or comparable performance over multiple quarters.
  • Personal track record leading sophisticated, multi-year enterprise renewal transactions valued at $1M or above.
  • Practical experience working with AI-powered or agentic platforms in enterprise renewals, customer success, or enterprise sales contexts.
  • Advanced proficiency with Salesforce or equivalent CRM systems, covering renewal forecasting, risk assessment, and opportunity management.
  • Outstanding executive-level communication, commercial negotiation capabilities, and relationship stewardship expertise.
  • Fully prepared to operate globally within a completely remote work structure.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience refining AI prompts, operational workflows, or business logic informed by customer engagement data.
  • Professional history in enterprise SaaS, cloud-based software, or subscription technology sectors.
  • Track record of synthesizing contract data, customer health metrics, support intelligence, and product telemetry to inform renewal approaches.
  • Proven systems-oriented mindset and history of enhancing scalable commercial operations through automation initiatives.
