Head of Admissions   $200,000 USD/year

Description

While most enrollment positions prioritize volume, this role was created to safeguard standards.

2 Hour Learning partners with families who demand precision, confidentiality, and verifiable results. We condense an entire school day into two concentrated hours through AI-driven, mastery-based instruction. Students routinely outpace national learning benchmarks, with measurable data to validate it. The remainder of each day is freed for depth work, independent thinking, and practical skill development. This approach delivers results—but only when matched with appropriate families.

Your role begins here.

You will manage the complete enrollment process for a campus, spanning initial inquiry to final onboarding. This is not a segmented responsibility. You own how families perceive us, how thoroughly they grasp the educational model, and whether enrollment choices are made with genuine alignment. You will evaluate compatibility, facilitate meaningful discussions, and advise against enrollment when circumstances warrant it. The objective is not maximizing headcount. The objective is ensuring fit.

We welcome candidates from premium client-service backgrounds outside conventional education: selective private schools, competitive programs, luxury hospitality, executive assistance, exclusive membership communities, or entrepreneurs who have directly managed high-value client relationships from beginning to end. What counts is your capacity to execute a sophisticated, multi-phase engagement with sound judgment, transparency, and consistent follow-through.

If your career has centered on delivering exceptional service where confidence, discretion, and experiential quality define the organization's reputation, this position will be recognizable territory—simply directed toward work that produces measurable impact.

This is a full-time, salaried, on-site position. We are currently hiring in Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, Santa Barbara, San Francisco, Orange County, and Palm Beach. Support for relocation is provided.

What you will be doing

  • Managing the complete enrollment cycle for prospective families, beginning with first contact and extending through onboarding.
  • Facilitating needs-based conversations to assess compatibility before introducing solutions or advising on subsequent actions.
  • Overseeing 20+ concurrent family engagements across varying stages of the enrollment pipeline, maintaining clear tracking and timely follow-up.
  • Conducting campus visits, student shadow sessions, and decision-focused discussions that articulate outcomes, expectations, and ideal candidate profiles.
  • Keeping precise CRM and enrollment documentation (HubSpot and SIS) to enable forecasting, prioritization, and sustained service excellence.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Employing transactional or aggressive sales methods.
  • Accepting misaligned families solely to meet enrollment targets.
  • Overseeing a sizable team or working through complex approval hierarchies.
  • Distributing accountability for the family journey across multiple staff members.
  • Operating remotely. This position is intentionally campus-based.

Key responsibilities

Lead and deliver a high-trust, selective enrollment process that successfully converts well-matched families while preserving the integrity and educational outcomes of the 2 Hour Learning approach.

Candidate requirements

  • 3+ years providing premium, individualized service in settings where quality of service directly influences organizational reputation (education, luxury hospitality, executive assistance, premium membership, or independently operated client services).
  • Proven ownership of a complete client, admissions, or enrollment process spanning initial engagement through onboarding.
  • Experience concurrently managing 20+ client, guest, or family interactions at various progression points, supported by a systematic approach to tracking and prioritization.
  • Capacity to offer specific examples of consultative decision-making, including instances where you recommended against your offering when alignment was absent.
  • Professional written correspondence experience with senior leaders, high-net-worth clients, or discerning audiences.
  • Willingness to reside in or relocate within 60 days to one of these locations: Santa Barbara, CA; San Francisco, CA; Orange County, CA; Dallas-Fort Worth, TX; or Palm Beach, FL.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Experience with selective private school admissions or competitive program enrollment processes.
  • Background in luxury hospitality, VIP client services, or executive-level support functions.
  • Experience designing or refining enrollment workflows, standard operating procedures, or service quality frameworks.
  • Proficiency using data and CRM analytics to enhance conversion alignment, not merely velocity.
