Imagine helping early readers discover literacy by connecting it to a world they already understand: gaming culture, where progression, resilience, and skill-building are second nature.

In this role, you will facilitate small-group reading sessions at a school designed around the passions of young gamers, integrating phonics teaching, adaptive literacy technology, and personalized coaching to help K-2 learners develop the same passion for reading that they have for games.

Austin brings live music venues, mild winter weather, scenic hill country paths, and a dynamic education innovation community that you will become part of.

Drive instruction. Embrace development. Apply today.

  • Modify teaching approaches on the fly according to student requirements, reading proficiency levels, and engagement signals
  • Facilitate motivational coaching sessions with students to support progress in adaptive literacy applications and reach educational milestones
  • Track learner progress metrics from adaptive technology and apply this information to customize instruction for individual reading cohorts
  • Employ storytelling techniques, humor, gaming metaphors, and affirmative feedback to sustain student effort and address learning barriers
