You will represent the first point of contact for families determining where their child's education will unfold. Each message you compose, event you organize, and interaction you facilitate will play a direct role in whether a family selects Alpha. In this capacity, you manage the complete journey for interested families from initial contact onward. You will address inquiries promptly and with care, arrange campus tours and shadow experiences, ensure applicant data remains flawless, and walk parents through Alpha's approach and fit. You are not simply handling paperwork behind the scenes—you are actively influencing enrollment outcomes.
This is an on-site, high-tempo role suited to someone who excels at managing competing demands without losing focus. What you will be doing
- Replying to inquiries from prospective families within 24 hours using clarity, approachability, and messaging consistent with Alpha's values
- Organizing admissions activities, campus tours, and shadow day experiences from planning through post-event communication
- Maintaining applicant data with full precision in CRM and admissions platforms
- Conducting meetings with families to describe Alpha's educational model, respond to their concerns, and capture key observations
- Collaborating with campus staff and admissions colleagues to sustain pipeline momentum
What you will NOT be doing
- Determining admissions outcomes or establishing enrollment guidelines
- Delivering instruction or overseeing academic programming
- Pursuing families through high-pressure sales methods or rigid scripts
- Operating within a sluggish, ambiguously structured workflow
Key responsibilities

Candidate requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
- At least 2 years of experience in admissions, customer service, or a family-facing operations role
- At least 1 year of professional written communication experience with families or customers
- At least 1 year of experience using a CRM, student information system, or comparable database with demonstrated data accuracy
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail across multiple concurrent workflows
- Availability to work on-site in Austin, TX, or willingness to relocate
- Authorized to work in the United States
Nice to have
- Background in education, enrollment management, or school operations
- Experience supporting admissions events or high-touch onboarding processes
- Comfort working in fast-changing, tech-enabled environments
