Description

You will serve as the first point of contact for families exploring where their child's education will unfold. The emails you compose, the events you orchestrate, and the discussions you facilitate will shape whether a family selects Alpha. This position is designed for someone who values accuracy, genuine connection, and consistent execution—and who recognizes that careful attention to detail builds confidence.

In this position, you manage the complete journey for interested families from initial contact forward. You will address questions promptly and with care, arrange campus tours and observation visits, keep applicant data accurate and current, and help parents understand how Alpha operates and if it aligns with their needs. You are not behind-the-scenes application processing—you are directly influencing choices.

What you will be doing

  • Replying to family inquiries within 24 hours with precision, authenticity, and messaging consistent with Alpha's values
  • Organizing admissions events, campus tours, and shadow day experiences from planning through post-visit communication
  • Maintaining complete and error-free applicant records in CRM and admissions platforms
  • Conducting meetings with families to clarify Alpha's approach, respond to questions, and capture relevant observations
  • Collaborating with campus staff and admissions colleagues to ensure pipeline continuity and momentum

What you will NOT be doing

  • Determining admissions outcomes or establishing enrollment guidelines
  • Delivering instruction or overseeing academic content
  • Employing high-pressure sales methods or rigid scripts to pursue families
  • Operating within an unstructured or inconsistently defined workflow

Key responsibilities

Deliver a polished, high-performing admissions journey that converts prospective interest into committed enrollment, ensuring families feel well-informed, valued, and eager to become part of Alpha.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
  • At least 2 years of experience in admissions, customer service, or a family-facing operations role
  • At least 1 year of professional written communication experience with families or customers
  • At least 1 year of experience using a CRM, student information system, or comparable database with demonstrated data accuracy
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail across multiple concurrent workflows
  • Availability to work on-site in Austin, TX, or willingness to relocate
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Nice to have

  • Background in education, enrollment management, or school operations
  • Experience supporting admissions events or high-touch onboarding processes
  • Comfort working in fast-changing, tech-enabled environments
