Director of Family Enrollment   $200,000 USD/year

Description

Most enrollment positions prioritize volume. This role prioritizes standards.

2 Hour Learning partners with families who value precision, confidentiality, and evidence. Our model condenses a traditional school day into two concentrated hours through AI-driven, mastery-based instruction. Students routinely outpace national learning benchmarks, supported by measurable data. Afternoons are freed for deeper exploration, self-directed growth, and practical skill development. The approach is effective—but only when matched with aligned families.

This is your responsibility.

You will manage the complete enrollment experience for a campus, beginning with initial inquiry and concluding with onboarding. This is not a role that transfers ownership. You are accountable for how families perceive us, how thoroughly they grasp the model, and whether enrollment choices are driven by appropriate reasoning. You will evaluate compatibility, facilitate meaningful dialogue, and advise against enrollment when warranted. The objective is not enrollment maximization. The objective is strategic fit.

We welcome applicants from premium service sectors outside traditional education: independent schools, competitive programs, high-end hospitality, executive assistance, exclusive membership organizations, or entrepreneurial operators who have directly overseen high-value client experiences from start to finish. What counts is your capacity to execute a consultative, multi-phase process with discernment, transparency, and precision.

If your career has been defined by delivering exceptional service where trust, confidentiality, and experience caliber represent the brand, this position will be a natural extension—applied to work that produces measurable impact.

This is a full-time, salaried, on-site position. We are currently hiring in Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, Santa Barbara, San Francisco, Orange County, and Palm Beach. Relocation assistance is provided.

What you will be doing

  • Managing the complete enrollment pathway for prospective families, from initial inquiry to final onboarding.
  • Facilitating fit-assessment discussions to evaluate compatibility before offering solutions or advising on subsequent steps.
  • Overseeing 20+ concurrent family engagements across varied enrollment stages, maintaining clear tracking and timely follow-up.
  • Conducting campus visits, student shadow sessions, and enrollment conversations that articulate outcomes, expectations, and ideal candidate profiles.
  • Ensuring accurate documentation in CRM and student information systems (HubSpot and SIS) to enable forecasting, task prioritization, and consistent service delivery.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Applying transactional or aggressive sales methods.
  • Accepting families who lack alignment in order to meet quantitative targets.
  • Overseeing large teams or working through complex approval hierarchies.
  • Distributing responsibility for the family journey across multiple staff members.
  • Operating remotely. This position is campus-based by structure.

Key responsibilities

Design and deliver a high-trust, selective enrollment process that secures the right families while safeguarding the integrity and academic performance of the 2 Hour Learning model.

Candidate requirements

  • 3+ years providing premium, individualized service in settings where service excellence directly influences brand perception (education, upscale hospitality, executive assistance, exclusive membership, or owner-managed services).
  • Proven ownership of a complete client, admissions, or enrollment process from initial engagement through final onboarding.
  • Experience concurrently managing 20+ client, guest, or family accounts at varying stages, supported by an organized tracking and prioritization framework.
  • Ability to share specific instances of consultative judgment, including situations where you advised against your offering because it was not suitable.
  • Professional correspondence experience with senior leaders, high-net-worth clients, or discerning stakeholders.
  • Willingness to reside in or relocate within 60 days to one of these locations: Santa Barbara, CA; San Francisco, CA; Orange County, CA; Dallas-Fort Worth, TX; or Palm Beach, FL.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Experience in selective independent school admissions or competitive program enrollment.
  • Background in high-end hospitality, VIP client services, or executive-level support functions.
  • Experience developing or improving enrollment workflows, standard operating procedures, or service benchmarks.
  • Proficiency leveraging data and CRM analytics to enhance conversion quality, not merely velocity.
