Director of Family Experience and Enrollment   $200,000 USD/year

Description

Most enrollment positions prioritize volume. This position prioritizes standards.

2 Hour Learning partners with families who demand precision, discretion, and evidence. We deliver a full school day's learning in two concentrated hours through AI-powered, mastery-based instruction. Students routinely outpace national learning benchmarks, and the results are measurable. Afternoons are freed for depth, autonomy, and real-world competency development. The model is effective. But effectiveness depends entirely on family alignment.

This is your responsibility.

You will manage the complete enrollment experience for one campus, beginning with initial inquiry and continuing through onboarding. This is not a coordination role. You own how families perceive us, how well they grasp the model, and whether enrollment decisions reflect genuine fit. You will evaluate alignment, facilitate substantive discussions, and advise against enrollment when appropriate. The objective is not maximizing numbers. The objective is ensuring alignment.

We welcome candidates from high-end service backgrounds outside conventional education: selective private schools, competitive programs, luxury hospitality, executive assistance, premium membership organizations, or entrepreneurial operators who have directly managed high-value client relationships from start to finish. What counts is your capacity to execute a high-touch, multi-phase process with discernment, clarity, and accountability.

If your professional background involves delivering white-glove service where trust, discretion, and experiential quality define the brand, this role will resonate—applied now to work that genuinely transforms outcomes.

This is a full-time, salaried, on-site position. We are currently hiring in Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, Santa Barbara, San Francisco, Orange County, and Palm Beach. Relocation assistance is provided.

What you will be doing

  • Managing the complete enrollment experience for prospective families, beginning with first contact and extending through onboarding.
  • Facilitating needs-assessment discussions to establish fit before proposing solutions or advising on next steps.
  • Overseeing 20+ concurrent family engagements across various stages of enrollment, with transparent tracking of status and follow-up actions.
  • Conducting campus tours, shadow day experiences, and decision-making conversations that articulate outcomes, expectations, and model suitability with clarity.
  • Keeping CRM and enrollment documentation (HubSpot and SIS) current and accurate to enable forecasting, prioritization, and consistent service excellence.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Applying transactional or high-pressure sales methods.
  • Accepting misaligned families simply to meet enrollment targets.
  • Overseeing a large team or working within complex approval hierarchies.
  • Distributing responsibility for family experience across multiple roles.
  • Operating remotely. This role is intentionally campus-based.

Key responsibilities

Lead and deliver a high-trust, highly selective enrollment process that successfully enrolls aligned families while safeguarding the integrity and academic performance of the 2 Hour Learning model.

Candidate requirements

  • 3+ years providing premium, individualized service in settings where service excellence directly influences brand reputation (education, luxury hospitality, executive assistance, premium memberships, or owner-operated client services).
  • Proven ownership of a complete client, admissions, or enrollment experience from initial contact through onboarding.
  • Experience managing 20+ concurrent client, guest, or family relationships across varied stages, supported by a robust tracking and prioritization system.
  • Capacity to provide specific examples of consultative decision-making, including instances where you advised against your own product or service due to misalignment.
  • Professional written communication experience with senior executives, high-net-worth individuals, or discerning clients.
  • Willingness to reside in or relocate within 60 days to one of these markets: Santa Barbara, CA; San Francisco, CA; Orange County, CA; Dallas-Fort Worth, TX; or Palm Beach, FL.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Experience with selective private school admissions or competitive program enrollment.
  • Background in luxury hospitality, VIP guest relations, or executive-level support functions.
  • Experience developing or refining enrollment workflows, standard operating procedures, or service quality standards.
  • Comfort leveraging data and CRM insights to enhance conversion quality, not merely velocity.
