Director of Client Relations   $200,000 USD/year

Description

Most enrollment positions focus on maximizing volume. This role is designed to uphold quality.

2 Hour Learning partners with families who demand precision, confidentiality, and measurable results. We condense a traditional school day into two hours of focused instruction using AI-powered, mastery-based learning. Students routinely outpace national learning benchmarks, supported by data. Afternoons become available for deeper pursuits, independence, and practical skill development. The model is effective. But success depends on enrolling the right families.

This is your responsibility.

You will manage the complete enrollment process for a campus, from initial inquiry to onboarding. This is not a role where you hand off tasks. You own how families perceive us, how thoroughly they grasp the model, and whether enrollment decisions reflect genuine alignment. You will evaluate fit, facilitate informed conversations, and advise against enrollment when appropriate. Maximum enrollment is not the objective. Alignment is.

We welcome applicants from high-end service backgrounds outside conventional education: selective private schools, competitive programs, luxury hospitality, executive assistance, premium membership organizations, or entrepreneurs who have directly managed high-value client relationships from start to finish. What counts is your capacity to execute a detailed, multi-phase process with sound judgment, clarity, and consistency.

If your career has centered on delivering exceptional service where trust, confidentiality, and experience quality shape the brand, this role will resonate, only now applied to work that produces tangible outcomes.

This is a full-time, salaried, on-site position. We are currently hiring in Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, Santa Barbara, San Francisco, Orange County, Atlanta, and Palm Beach. Relocation assistance is provided.

What you will be doing

  • Managing the complete enrollment experience for prospective families, from initial outreach through onboarding.
  • Facilitating needs-assessment discussions to evaluate fit before offering solutions or advising on next steps.
  • Overseeing 20+ active family relationships across various stages of enrollment, maintaining clear tracking and follow-up protocols.
  • Conducting campus tours, shadow day experiences, and decision-making conversations that transparently convey outcomes, expectations, and ideal candidate profiles.
  • Keeping CRM and enrollment systems (HubSpot and SIS) current and accurate to enable forecasting, prioritization, and service excellence.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Employing transactional or aggressive sales methods.
  • Admitting families who lack alignment just to meet enrollment targets.
  • Overseeing large teams or navigating complex approval hierarchies.
  • Distributing responsibility for the family experience across multiple team members.
  • Working from a remote location. This position is campus-based intentionally.

Key responsibilities

Lead and deliver a high-trust, selective enrollment process that successfully converts well-matched families while safeguarding the integrity and academic performance of the 2 Hour Learning model.

Candidate requirements

  • 3+ years providing premium, individualized service in settings where service excellence directly influences brand reputation (education, luxury hospitality, executive support, premium membership, or owner-operated services).
  • Proven ownership of a complete client, admissions, or enrollment process from initial contact through onboarding.
  • Experience concurrently managing 20+ client, guest, or family relationships at varying stages, supported by a clear tracking and prioritization system.
  • Ability to share specific examples of consultative decision-making, including advising against your product or service when alignment was lacking.
  • Professional written communication experience with senior executives, high-net-worth individuals, or discerning clients.
  • Willingness to reside in or relocate within 60 days to one of the following markets: Santa Barbara, CA; San Francisco, CA; Orange County, CA; Roswell, GA; Dallas-Fort Worth, TX; or Palm Beach, FL.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Experience in competitive private school admissions or selective program enrollment.
  • Background in luxury hospitality, VIP client services, or executive-level support functions.
  • Experience designing or refining enrollment workflows, standard operating procedures, or service benchmarks.
  • Comfort leveraging data and CRM insights to enhance conversion quality, not merely speed.
