Director of Guest Relations   $200,000 USD/year

Description

Most admissions positions are designed to maximize volume. This role is designed to uphold standards.

At 2 Hour Learning, we partner with families who demand precision, confidentiality, and evidence. We condense a complete academic day into two concentrated hours through AI-driven, mastery-based instruction. Students routinely outpace national learning benchmarks, validated by performance data. Afternoons are freed for exploration, autonomy, and practical skill development. The model is effective. But its effectiveness depends on enrolling the right families.

That's your responsibility.

You will manage the complete enrollment experience for a campus, beginning with initial inquiry and continuing through onboarding. This is not a role where ownership is divided. You are accountable for how families perceive us, how thoroughly they grasp the model, and whether enrollment choices are made with proper alignment. You will evaluate compatibility, facilitate informed discussions, and advise against enrollment when appropriate. The objective is not enrollment volume. The objective is mutual fit.

We welcome applicants from elite service backgrounds outside conventional education: independent schools, competitive programs, high-end hospitality, executive coordination, exclusive membership communities, or entrepreneurial operators who have directly overseen premium client experiences from start to finish. What counts is your capacity to execute a high-touch, phased process with sound judgment, clarity, and accountability.

If your career has centered on delivering exceptional service where trust, confidentiality, and quality define reputation, this role will be recognizable—simply applied to work that produces measurable impact.

This is a full-time, salaried, on-campus position. We are recruiting in Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, Santa Barbara, San Francisco, Orange County, Atlanta, and Palm Beach. Relocation assistance is provided.

What you will be doing

  • Managing the complete enrollment process for prospective families, from initial outreach through final onboarding.
  • Facilitating assessment-based conversations to evaluate alignment before introducing solutions or advising on subsequent actions.
  • Overseeing 20+ concurrent family engagements across various stages of enrollment, with transparent tracking of progress and follow-up activities.
  • Delivering campus tours, shadow day experiences, and decision-stage discussions that articulate outcomes, expectations, and program suitability.
  • Keeping CRM and enrollment systems (HubSpot and SIS) current and accurate to enable forecasting, task prioritization, and consistent service delivery.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Applying transactional or aggressive sales methods.
  • Accepting families who are a poor fit simply to meet enrollment targets.
  • Supervising a sizable team or working within complex hierarchical structures.
  • Distributing family experience responsibility across multiple individuals.
  • Operating remotely. This position is intentionally campus-based.

Key responsibilities

Lead and deliver a high-trust, selective enrollment process that attracts aligned families while safeguarding the integrity and academic performance of the 2 Hour Learning model.

Candidate requirements

  • 3+ years providing high-touch, individualized service in settings where service excellence directly shapes brand credibility (education, luxury hospitality, executive administration, premium membership, or owner-led service operations).
  • Proven ownership of a complete client, admissions, or enrollment experience from initial engagement through onboarding completion.
  • Experience managing 20+ concurrent client, guest, or family relationships at varying stages, supported by a structured system for organization and follow-through.
  • Ability to present specific examples of consultative judgment, including instances where you advised against your own offering when fit was inadequate.
  • Professional-level written communication with senior leaders, high-net-worth clients, or discerning audiences.
  • Willingness to reside in or relocate within 60 days to one of these markets: Santa Barbara, CA; San Francisco, CA; Orange County, CA; Roswell, GA; Dallas-Fort Worth, TX; or Palm Beach, FL.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Experience in competitive private school admissions or selective program enrollment processes.
  • Background in luxury hospitality, VIP client services, or executive support functions.
  • Experience designing or enhancing enrollment workflows, standard operating procedures, or service protocols.
  • Proficiency leveraging data and CRM analytics to optimize enrollment alignment, not merely throughput.
