Senior DevOps Architect   $200,000 USD/year

Description

The SaaS sector is undergoing rapid transformation, yet conventional SaaSOps organizations struggle to maintain momentum, depending on manual workflows and reactive incident response rather than forward-thinking, AI-enabled automation. Organizations squander millions through inefficient cloud management, experience preventable service interruptions, and lack the scaling velocity required for ambitious expansion. Trilogy takes a contrasting approach—acquiring no fewer than one SaaS company monthly and fully committing to AI transformation to establish the industry's most sophisticated, automated SaaS Ops capability.

Trilogy manages a portfolio of SaaS enterprises, each presenting distinct architecture, customer bases, and operational complexities. Rather than viewing SaaS Ops as an overhead function, we position it as a strategic differentiator. We are constructing an elite, AI-driven SaaS Ops organization engineered to maximize availability, streamline operational workflows, and optimize cloud expenditure across dozens of solutions. This represents an opportunity to architect and implement SaaS Ops strategy at scale, harnessing automation, AI, and exemplary operational frameworks to establish a new benchmark for the industry.

This is not an enterprise IT or infrastructure oversight position. This is a technically engaged leadership opportunity for someone who has architected and owned SaaS Ops within a SaaS organization, not simply participated as a team member. The preferred candidate is a technical authority first, a leader second—someone who excels at engineering scalable infrastructure, embedding automation, and executing high-impact operational decisions. You will be accountable for architecting the future of SaaS Ops across a varied portfolio of SaaS businesses, guaranteeing frictionless product integrations, and deploying AI to build an automated, exceptionally efficient operations platform.

You will collaborate with world-class talent across Engineering, Product, and C-Suite leadership to architect and deliver this vision. If you possess firm convictions about how SaaS Ops should function, relish the challenge of optimizing multi-product ecosystems, and are energized to pioneer AI-driven operations, this role is designed for you. Apply now to claim ownership of a career-defining opportunity.

What you will be doing

  • Architect and deploy best-in-class SaaS Ops strategies grounded in extensive expertise and decisive perspectives on operational excellence
  • Drive critical decisions on operational standards, AI tooling, and process architecture to guarantee reliability, security, and cost optimization across the portfolio
  • Construct and refine a framework for integrating newly acquired SaaS products into a unified SaaS Ops function with minimal operational friction
  • Optimize the deployment of AI-powered tools for automation, cost reduction, and operational efficiency

What you will NOT be doing

  • Managing the manual repetition and routine of conventional SaaS Ops; your emphasis will be on automation and AI-driven innovation
  • Running operations for a single product; you will be orchestrating complexity across hundreds of products in our SaaS portfolio
  • Accepting the status quo; you will be expected to transform and reimagine operations using AI technologies

Key responsibilities

  • Own a highly efficient, AI-powered SaaS Ops function that ensures exceptional reliability, cost optimization, and seamless operations for a growing portfolio of acquired SaaS businesses

Candidate requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience managing and owning SaaS Ops supporting enterprise customers
  • Experience owning SaaS Ops and leading major cloud migrations at an SME with enterprise customers
  • Experience applying AI and automation technologies to SaaS operations
  • Advanced AWS and DevOps skills (including Docker and Kubernetes)
