Engenheiro de Suporte Técnico   $60,000 USD/year

Description

Educational support ecosystems face mounting complexity as demands from schools, students, and families escalate. Schools require immediate, AI-powered responses spanning learning platforms, SIS infrastructure, devices, and operational workflows. Yet most organizations remain trapped in disconnected tools, manual escalation chains, and fragile systems that collapse under operational pressure.

We address this challenge through a fundamentally reimagined approach: AI-enhanced "cyborg" agents positioned at the core of a living educational environment. In this position, you will define how the system evolves. Each resolution strengthens future automation, each root cause investigation informs process design and governance, and each anomaly you decode improves outcomes for thousands of learners and teaching professionals.

This is direct, production-grade troubleshooting within a service context. You will analyze unclear, multi-party failures spanning learning tools, SIS architectures, identity frameworks, network infrastructure, and operational procedures; apply AI to formulate hypotheses, execute tests, and expedite resolution strategies; capture the human logic that instructs both technology and colleagues; and proactively surface patterns that convert isolated interventions into sustainable, organization-wide enhancements.

This is not routine ticket sorting, procedural adherence, or "forward and hold." If you excel when documentation is sparse, when issues cross engineering, operations, and curriculum boundaries, and when you can transition from technical diagnosis to stakeholder coordination without compromising precision, this role will align naturally with your strengths.

What you will be doing

  • AI-Enhanced Customer Resolution: Complex, escalated cases addressed through deep, direct troubleshooting combined with AI that you steer, validate against authentic documentation, and confirm.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Spending two full months ramping up; you will be expected to achieve competency across multiple products within the first month (we recognize this pace is demanding)
  • Depending on your managers for assistance; if you are not skilled at removing your own blockers, this role will present significant challenges

Key responsibilities

  • Combine technical human judgment and AI functionality to provide outstanding customer support, concentrating on intricate issues that AI cannot yet independently address

Candidate requirements

  • Must be located in one of the following regions: North America, South America, Australia, New Zealand, Philippines
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical customer support position
  • Fundamental coding abilities for troubleshooting and bug resolution purposes
  • Troubleshooting Capabilities: Translating complex problems into accessible language, exhibiting solid comprehension of issues, suggesting appropriate diagnostic approaches, offering multiple resolution options, and maintaining meticulous attention to detail
  • AI Competency: A solid grasp of AI technologies and their function in support operations, including awareness of their capabilities, constraints, and methods for leveraging them effectively to accelerate problem resolution
