Head Coach   $150,000 USD/year

Description

  • Based on-site in Park City (Salt Lake City), UT; Keller (Fort Worth), TX; Oklahoma City, OK; or Atlanta, GA
  • Weekly pay at $150,000 annually. Full health benefits begin day one
  • Considering relocation? Support is provided

The highest form of support for a student who achieves 99% is declining to round it up to 100%.

At Alpha, this principle isn't up for discussion—it defines daily practice. Academic learning happens through self-guided applications, not instructor-led lectures. This design allows you to focus on what genuinely transforms outcomes: facilitating dynamic workshops on speaking skills, concentration, and constructive feedback. Use live analytics to drive students toward complete goal attainment. Develop the Guides working with you. Your resources include performance data, a structured operational framework, and the leadership presence that compels middle schoolers to engage rather than disengage.

A typical morning may begin with individual coaching for a Guide, examining Coachbot data and pinpointing where a group is underperforming. By noon you're delivering a live student workshop, executing a scripted activity on feedback exchange. Afternoons transition to motivational interventions: one-on-one student conversations, identifying intrinsic drivers, and leveraging Alpha's reward architecture (campus currency, performance rankings) to re-engage a reluctant seventh grader. You maintain direct responsibility for a cohort, ensuring you remain proficient in the competencies you're teaching others to master.

Three outcomes define your accountability: students love attending school, they advance at double the rate of conventional classrooms, and they develop practical competencies. Coaching other Guides begins immediately. As you produce results consistently, your authority over campus-wide program standards expands.

Uphold the standard. Transform the student. Apply today.

What you will be doing

  • Facilitating structured one-hour life skills workshops (speaking, focus, feedback dynamics) for K-8 students using Alpha's scripted playbook
  • Conducting motivational interventions with Coachbot analytics and Alpha's reward infrastructure (campus currency, performance rankings) to ensure 100% student goal attainment
  • Developing Guides through coaching focused on program adherence and standards enforcement, generating actionable improvement plans in every session
  • Managing your own student cohort while simultaneously building capacity in other Guides
  • Monitoring student satisfaction metrics, goal completion percentages, and Guide performance indicators

What you will NOT be doing

  • Teaching or tutoring academic content. Students engage with learning apps independently.
  • Creating curriculum materials or lesson frameworks. Alpha's playbook serves as your operational blueprint, allowing you to concentrate on delivery and rapport.
  • Accepting 99% when the target is 100%. Maintaining this boundary demonstrates your conviction in their capability.
  • Coaching Guides on instructional methods. Since Guides don't teach, your coaching centers on energy, motivation, and accountability practices.

Key responsibilities

Fulfill Alpha's 3 Promises for every student in your assigned level: they love school, they learn at twice the speed of traditional classrooms, and they develop real life skills.
