You'll oversee a student cohort and be measured on three commitments: students are engaged and enthusiastic, they progress at double the rate of conventional classrooms, and they develop essential competencies. Coaching other Guides begins immediately. As you consistently produce outcomes, your authority over campus-wide programming expands.

What you will be doing
- Facilitating hour-long interactive workshops focused on life competencies (public speaking, focus, feedback exchange) for students in grades K-8, executing Alpha's structured playbook
- Conducting motivational sessions leveraging Coachbot analytics and Alpha's reward architecture (campus currency, performance leaderboards) to ensure 100% goal attainment
- Mentoring Guides on program adherence and standards maintenance, ensuring every coaching interaction yields concrete next steps
- Managing your own student group while simultaneously developing Guide capacity
- Monitoring student engagement scores, completion metrics, and Guide effectiveness indicators
What you will NOT be doing
- Delivering academic instruction or tutoring on subject matter. App-based platforms handle student learning.
- Creating curriculum or crafting lesson plans. Alpha's playbook serves as your framework, allowing you to concentrate on delivery and relationship-building.
- Accepting 99% when the target is 100%. Maintaining high expectations demonstrates your confidence in their potential.
- Training Guides on instructional methods. Since Guides don't teach content, you'll coach on enthusiasm, student motivation, and responsibility instead.
Key responsibilities

Candidate requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in education, learning and development (L&D), coaching, or comparable field
- Demonstrated experience designing and executing educational programs, training systems, or curricula
- Proven track record building and leading teams, including responsibility for recruitment and performance-driven termination decisions
- Direct experience working with children ages 5-14 in educational or youth development contexts
- Proficiency using data analytics and performance metrics to inform decisions and drive ongoing improvement
- Available to work on-site at an Alpha campus in Atlanta, GA or Keller (Fort Worth), TX
- Authorized to work legally in the United States
Nice to have
- Master's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or related discipline
- Experience in sports coaching, residential camp leadership, or youth development programs with measurable outcomes and enforced performance standards
- Track record motivating large student groups
