Vice President of Client Success   $400,000 USD/year

Description

Have you ever faced a crowd of discerning, skeptical stakeholders and thought, "I can't wait to win them over"? If so, we need to meet.

We're on the hunt for a master communicator who can transform parents into fervent advocates for a groundbreaking educational shift.

At 2 Hour Learning, we're redefining education by replacing conventional 6-hour school days with 2 hours of AI-driven learning. Revolutionary ideas often meet resistance, and we need someone who can inspire accomplished and demanding parents to invest in our vision for their children's future.

This role calls for someone with executive presence - whether in the boardroom, on camera, or leading crucial parent meetings. You're the go-to person when stakes are high: whether it's presenting to the board, handling media interviews, or transforming a PR crisis into an opportunity to showcase value.

You're passionate about turning critics into advocates, seeing resistance as a chance to demonstrate transformative impact. You believe that maintaining high standards builds credibility, and you know how to build and scale advocacy movements that turn individual wins into systemic change.

If your career has been built on commanding rooms, shaping narratives, and converting skeptics into believers - let's discuss leading the educational revolution.

What you will be doing

  • Leading impactful presentations and discussions that convert discerning skeptics into advocates
  • Developing and mobilizing networks of influential parent champions to drive our message within communities
  • Creating scalable systems to turn individual parent successes into compelling proof points and advocacy opportunities
  • Implementing sophisticated feedback systems to capture parent sentiment early and transform potential issues into advocacy opportunities
  • Guiding critical media engagements and shaping public narratives around our innovative approach
  • Identifying and leveraging strategic opportunities to highlight our transformative impact

What you will NOT be doing

  • Managing traditional parent-teacher associations or school improvement committees
  • Organizing social events without strategic advocacy objectives
  • Compromising our educational model to satisfy influential parents
  • Reacting to concerns instead of proactively shaping the narrative

Key responsibilities

Transform our parent community into a powerful advocacy engine by developing systematic approaches that expand parent champions across campuses, all while upholding our unwavering commitment to educational excellence.

Candidate requirements

  • Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Austin, TX
  • 7+ years of experience turning influential stakeholders or skeptics into advocates (e.g., Head of Customer Advocacy, Chief Communications Officer, Chief Development Officer working with major donors, VP of Enterprise Sales, Director of Community Relations, or Change Management Consultant)
  • Exceptional executive presence with proven ability to command sophisticated audiences
  • Track record in high-stakes communications (media appearances, board presentations, crisis management)
  • Proven success in building and scaling advocacy communities from the ground up
  • Ability to uphold policies with powerful stakeholders while strengthening relationships and maintaining organizational standards
  • A deep conviction that transforming education requires steadfast adherence to innovative methods

What you will learn

While we seek your expertise in building influential communities and navigating complex stakeholder relationships, you'll apply these skills at the forefront of educational transformation. You'll help pioneer how AI reshapes K-12 education, influence how parents and educators reimagine learning, and lead the most significant change in education delivery since the classroom's inception. If you're excited about working at the intersection of transformative technology and educational excellence, you'll have the chance to write the playbook for how forward-thinking schools build parent advocacy in the AI era.

Work examples

The potential impact of this role is best demonstrated by the success stories:

After a challenging parent meeting where a successful CEO mother questioned our unconventional schedule, you not only addressed her concerns but also showcased the transformative potential of our model, turning her into one of our most vocal advocates. She's now hosting dinner parties, convincing other skeptical parents to embrace our approach by sharing concrete examples of her daughter's progress.

When a group of concerned parents started a WhatsApp group discussing AI's role in education, you didn't just react - you anticipated the situation. You crafted a compelling presentation with parent success stories and research data, delivered it with authority, and it was recorded and shared widely, turning a potential crisis into a powerful advocacy moment. Parents now routinely share that video with friends considering our school.

Your systematic approach to parent engagement has built a network of parent advocates across every grade level. When new families tour the school, they don't just hear from staff - they meet with current parents who passionately champion our model. You've created such effective advocacy systems that parents independently organize informational sessions in their communities.

Most importantly, when parents call with concerns (as sophisticated, invested parents always will), you don't just resolve issues - you systematically turn these moments into opportunities to strengthen belief in our model. Your executive presence and strategic approach mean you're not just maintaining parent relationships - you're building and expanding a movement of parents who are betting their children's futures on an educational revolution.

Success means creating communities where parents become our most powerful advocates because they've witnessed the possibilities of revolutionizing education. They're not just accepting our approach - they're championing it to their networks, driving growth across our campuses, and partnering with us to advance education.
