Digital Learning Specialist   $100,000 USD/year

Description

You've designed curricula, interpreted student performance data, and mastered Social Studies pedagogy across multiple grade levels. Now picture applying those skills while designing your own AI systems—LLM-powered workflows that create content, identify performance trends, and adjust learning paths dynamically. At 2 Hour Learning, we're doing more than reimagining education—we're building a new paradigm for how students engage with the world's cultures and histories.

We need an educator who engineers AI solutions that transform how students understand history and geography—not through empty promises, but through LLM architectures, performance analytics, and instructional materials that deliver results. Think you can compress learning timelines and make the study of past empires or global terrain as compelling as any modern exploration? This is your chance to reinvent social studies instruction, creating richer engagement with humanity's collective narrative.

If you're a Social Studies specialist prepared to engineer the AI-powered next generation of learning, apply now.

What you will be doing

  • Leveraging AI to create interactive simulations that render historical moments and geographic concepts concrete and unforgettable for learners.
  • Examining learning analytics to identify trends that shape adaptive learning sequences, guaranteeing each student's path is both compelling and productive.
  • Building innovative digital tools that animate historical personalities and world environments, from time-travel experiences to rich cultural immersions.
  • Working alongside a cross-functional team of teachers and engineers to develop breakthrough methods that transform social studies teaching and learning.
  • Converting sophisticated historical and spatial ideas into accessible, engaging material augmented by AI-powered customization.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Overseeing conventional curriculum structures or getting mired in procedural tasks—this position focuses on breakthrough thinking and measurable outcomes.
  • Operating on intuition—every instructional and design choice you execute will be anchored in learner performance metrics and AI-derived intelligence.
  • Investing months in curriculum overhauls that might never launch—you'll deploy AI to create, validate, and refine materials in days rather than academic terms.

Key responsibilities

Drive accelerated student mastery of social studies content spanning K-12 through AI-powered analytics, resource creation, and instructional strategy enhancement.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in History, Geography, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience teaching or developing social studies curricula, with demonstrable results in improving student outcomes.
  • Experience with AI applications in education, such as content creation, adaptive learning, or data analysis using the LLM APIs.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze student performance data to identify learning gaps and inform content or strategy changes.
  • Proven ability to simplify complex Social Studies concepts for K-12 learners, with examples of measurable impact on student outcomes.
