Campus Coordinator   $75,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This position requires in-person presence at one of our campus locations.

Many schools push operations into back rooms, administrative meetings, and bureaucratic approval chains. Alpha takes a different approach. This role places you front and center throughout the day: welcoming families at the door, resolving technology problems, managing smooth arrival processes, reassuring concerned parents, liaising with vendors, and ensuring the campus environment feels secure, professional, and distinctly Alpha.

We need someone who combines warmth with firmness, organization with action, and confidence with hands-on work ethic. You will manage nearly all non-instructional operations: family communications, attendance systems, campus security, facility management, meal coordination, technology devices, event planning, and the minor issues that escalate quickly without prompt attention.

You will not be surrounded by a large on-site operations staff. You will receive documented procedures, remote technical assistance, and established protocols, but you must demonstrate rapid learning ability, resourcefulness, and sound real-time decision-making. The payoff comes from becoming the reliable adult that families respect, Guides depend on, and students feel comfortable approaching when problems arise.

If you seek a prominent school operations position where customer service, sound judgment, effective communication, and personal accountability define daily success, submit your application now.

What you will be doing

  • Serve as the primary trusted contact point for parents, students, staff members, and campus visitors, delivering clear, composed, and prompt communication.
  • Take full ownership of daily campus operations, including morning arrival, afternoon dismissal, attendance tracking, transportation coordination, meal logistics, campus cleanliness, event execution, and facilities maintenance follow-through.
  • Address campus safety and student wellness matters, including entry control, emergency drills, health situations, incident documentation, and parent notifications.
  • Oversee student technology devices and fundamental campus systems, including device configuration, user account assistance, issue diagnosis, data backups, repair coordination, and escalation to remote technical support teams.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with Guides, service providers, and families by prioritizing helpfulness while upholding established standards.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Working from a secluded office while others manage the parent and student interface.
  • Leading classroom instruction, mentoring Guides, or developing educational curriculum.
  • Deferring to management approval before addressing every operational issue.
  • Conducting operations through extended meeting cycles when the campus requires immediate resolution.
  • Delegating facilities, devices, vendor relations, or meal services as outside your scope.

Key responsibilities

Deliver a secure, efficient, and welcoming campus environment that builds confidence among students, parents, and staff members daily.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (field of study not specified)
  • At least 1 year of experience in office coordination, facilities support, site operations, or similar operational roles
  • Comfort with basic technology tasks including device setup, troubleshooting, and account administration
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across parents, staff, and vendors
  • Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail
  • Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Available to work in-person in one of our campuses: Carrollton, TX; Fort Worth, TX; Austin, TX; Houston, TX; Oklahoma City, OK; Park City, UT; Tulsa, OK; Tampa, FL; Denver, CO; or Brentwood, TN — or willing to relocate
