LOCATION NOTE: This is an in-person role located at one of our campuses.

A well-run campus goes unnoticed. A poorly run one affects everyone. This position ensures Alpha campuses function with safety, consistency, and confidence—day in and day out.

Alpha is creating one of the world's most ambitious educational models. Our classrooms operate at speed. Our expectations are rigorous. That demands campus operations that are disciplined, scalable, and responsive. This role is accountable for everything beyond the classroom that enables students and Guides to excel.

In this position, you serve as the operational foundation of the campus. You coordinate parent and staff communication, manage safety and security protocols, ensure facilities and logistics operate without interruption, and guarantee that technology functions reliably for students and staff. You intervene when systems fail, anticipate challenges before they grow, and introduce structured calm to fast-moving environments.

This is not a limited coordinator position. It is a hands-on, high-visibility role for someone who excels under responsibility, variety, and execution. What you will be doing

  • Serving as a primary contact for parents, students, and staff to deliver timely, clear, and professional communication
  • Overseeing campus safety operations including access management, health incidents, emergency drills, documentation, and parent notifications
  • Managing daily campus logistics such as attendance systems, transportation coordination, facilities upkeep, and office operations
  • Supporting new staff onboarding and training to ensure operational preparedness from their first day
  • Overseeing student devices and campus technology, acting as the on-site Google Administrator and technology liaison

  • Teaching classes or providing academic instruction
  • Coaching Guides or influencing curriculum design
  • Working in a purely clerical or narrowly defined role
  • Operating in a slow-paced or highly routine environment
  • Escalating unresolved issues to others rather than owning outcomes

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (field of study not specified)
  • At least 1 year of experience in office coordination, facilities support, site operations, or comparable operational roles
  • Comfort with fundamental technology tasks including device setup, troubleshooting, and account administration
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with parents, staff, and vendors
  • Ability to juggle competing priorities while preserving attention to detail
  • Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Must be available to work in person in Piedmont, CA; Palo Alto, CA; Lake Forest, CA or Chicago, IL.
