Youth Success Coach   $60,000 USD/year

Description

You've tested your limits in competition, on stage, or in professional settings. Now you're ready to translate that excellence into meaningful impact. At Alpha Anywhere, coaches work with students to achieve something remarkable: genuine enthusiasm for learning, accelerated progress, and development into confident, independent thinkers. You'll do this work from any location worldwide.

Alpha Anywhere represents the virtual advancement of Alpha's innovative educational model. We combine AI-driven academics with two weekly 1:1 coaching sessions to provide what traditional classrooms cannot: individualized mastery, acceleration, and sustained engagement. This isn't tutoring or conventional teaching. It's performance coaching for students prepared to learn 2x faster—who need the right person to help them reach that capacity.

You'll partner with 3rd–8th grade students globally to produce measurable academic gains through mindset transformation, not direct instruction. Your mission is to maintain high standards, cultivate belief, and make the learning experience feel like achievement. Every session you facilitate has significance. Every insight you trigger makes a difference. If meaningful impact is what you seek, you've found it.

What you will be doing

  • Facilitating two weekly 1:1 virtual coaching sessions per student, centered on academic goal-setting, motivation, and mindset development
  • Hosting open "office hours" where students can drop in for immediate support, encouragement, or problem-solving
  • Leveraging AI tools and dashboards to monitor student progress, pinpoint obstacles, and refine your coaching methods
  • Recording insights, concerns, and tactical updates to keep each student on an accelerated growth path
  • Working with your team to exchange strategies, surface issues, and continuously enhance the coaching framework

What you will NOT be doing

  • Teaching lessons, evaluating tests, or distributing homework—our technology manages the academics
  • Presenting lectures or adhering to a fixed curriculum
  • Babysitting or over-managing unmotivated students—we coach, not micromanage
  • Attending unnecessary meetings or navigating bureaucracy
  • Settling for mediocrity—this team is designed for individuals who aim to perform at a high level and create real impact

Key responsibilities

Produce measurable academic growth and engagement for virtual students by providing high-frequency, high-impact mindset coaching in a completely remote, technology-enabled environment.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any field
  • At least 1 year of experience coaching, mentoring, or motivating K–8 students
  • Proven high performance in any field—academics, athletics, entrepreneurship, or the arts
  • Strong virtual presence and ability to connect with students quickly over Zoom/Google Meet
  • Comfortable using dashboards and tech tools to track and adjust performance
  • Able to work at least 70% of hours between 7am–10pm EST, Monday to Friday, to align with U.S. time zones

Nice to have

  • Background in performance coaching, sports psychology, or motivational work
  • Experience working with homeschool or alternative education families
