Success Coach   $60,000 USD/year

Description

You've already proven yourself—whether in competition, creative performance, or professional achievement. Now you're ready to channel that excellence into something meaningful. As a coach at Alpha Anywhere, you'll help students accomplish what seems impossible: fall in love with learning, accelerate their progress, and develop into confident, independent thinkers. All from wherever you choose to work.

Alpha Anywhere represents the virtual evolution of Alpha's transformative school model. We combine AI-driven academics with two weekly 1:1 coaching sessions to deliver what traditional classrooms cannot: individualized mastery, velocity, and intrinsic motivation. This isn't tutoring. This isn't instruction. It's performance coaching for students ready to learn 2x faster—and who need the right person to unlock that capacity.

You'll partner with 3rd–8th grade students around the world to create measurable academic gains through mindset transformation, not direct teaching. Your mission is to maintain high standards, cultivate self-belief, and make learning feel like achievement. Every session you facilitate matters. Every insight you catalyze counts. If impact is what you're after, you've found it.

What you will be doing

  • Facilitating two weekly 1:1 virtual coaching conversations with each student, centered on academic goal-setting, motivation, and mindset development
  • Hosting open "office hours" sessions where students can drop in for live support, encouragement, or problem-solving
  • Leveraging AI tools and performance dashboards to monitor student progress, surface obstacles, and refine your coaching tactics
  • Recording observations, alerts, and strategic adjustments to keep each student on an accelerated growth path
  • Working closely with your team to exchange tactics, escalate issues, and continuously refine the coaching methodology

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering lessons, evaluating assignments, or distributing homework—technology manages the instructional content
  • Presenting lectures or adhering to a prescribed curriculum
  • Supervising or over-managing students who lack engagement—we coach with intention, not constant oversight
  • Attending unnecessary meetings or navigating bureaucratic processes
  • Going through the motions—this team is designed for individuals who aim to perform at a high level and create meaningful outcomes

Key responsibilities

Create measurable academic growth and sustained engagement for virtual students by providing high-frequency, high-impact mindset coaching within a fully remote, technology-enabled model.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any field
  • At least 1 year of experience coaching, mentoring, or motivating K–8 students
  • Demonstrated high performance in any domain—academics, athletics, entrepreneurship, or the arts
  • Strong virtual presence and capacity to build rapport with students quickly via Zoom/Google Meet
  • Comfortable navigating dashboards and technology tools to monitor and adapt performance
  • Able to work at least 70% of hours between 7am–10pm EST, Monday to Friday, to align with U.S. time zones

Nice to have

  • Background in performance coaching, sports psychology, or motivational work
  • Experience working with homeschool or alternative education families
