Learning Coach   $60,000 USD/year

Description

You've already demonstrated excellence—whether in athletics, performance, or professional settings. Now you're prepared to channel that achievement into meaningful work. At Alpha Anywhere, you'll coach students to accomplish what seems impossible: develop a genuine passion for learning, accelerate their progress, and mature into independent, confident individuals. You'll do this from any location worldwide.

Alpha Anywhere represents the digital advancement of Alpha's innovative educational model. We combine AI-driven curriculum with two weekly 1:1 coaching sessions to provide what traditional classrooms cannot: individualized mastery, velocity, and sustained engagement. This isn't tutoring. This isn't conventional teaching. This is elite-level coaching for students prepared to learn at twice the typical pace—and who need someone to help them reach that performance.

You'll partner with students in grades 3–8 from around the world to generate measurable academic progress through mindset transformation, not direct instruction. Your function is to maintain high standards, cultivate self-belief, and make education feel like achievement. Every session you conduct has significance. Every insight you unlock creates value. If you're seeking meaningful impact, this is it.

What you will be doing

  • Conducting two weekly 1:1 virtual coaching sessions per student, centered on academic target-setting, engagement, and mindset development
  • Hosting open "office hours" where students access real-time guidance, motivation, or problem-solving
  • Leveraging AI tools and performance dashboards to monitor student advancement, detect obstacles, and refine your coaching methods
  • Recording observations, alerts, and tactical updates to keep each student advancing on an accelerated growth path
  • Partnering with your team to exchange tactics, escalate issues, and continuously refine the coaching framework

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering lessons, evaluating assignments, or distributing homework—our technology manages the academics
  • Presenting lectures or adhering to a fixed syllabus
  • Supervising or micromanaging unmotivated students—we coach, not monitor
  • Enduring redundant meetings or administrative overhead
  • Operating at low intensity—this team is designed for individuals who want to perform at an elite level and create real impact

Key responsibilities

Generate measurable academic progress and student engagement for virtual learners by providing high-frequency, high-impact mindset coaching within a fully remote, technology-enabled framework.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience coaching, mentoring, or inspiring K–8 students
  • Demonstrated high performance in any domain—academics, athletics, entrepreneurship, or the arts
  • Compelling virtual presence and capacity to build rapport with students rapidly via Zoom/Google Meet
  • Proficient with dashboards and technology platforms to monitor and modify performance
  • Available to work at least 70% of hours between 7am–10pm EST, Monday to Friday, to coordinate with U.S. time zones

Nice to have

  • Experience in performance coaching, sports psychology, or motivational disciplines
  • Familiarity working with homeschool or alternative education communities
