Alpha Anywhere represents the virtual advancement of Alpha's innovative school framework. We combine AI-driven academics with two 1:1 coaching sessions weekly to provide what traditional classrooms cannot: individualized mastery, acceleration, and drive. This isn't tutoring. This isn't conventional teaching. This is high-performance coaching for students prepared to learn 2x faster—and who need guidance to reach that capability.
You'll partner with 3rd–8th grade students around the world to produce measurable academic progress through mindset transformation, not direct instruction. Your function is to maintain high standards, cultivate belief, and make the school experience feel like success. Every session you conduct has significance. Every breakthrough you ignite has value. What you will be doing
- Conducting two 1:1 virtual coaching sessions weekly for each student, centered on academic goal-setting, drive, and mindset development
- Hosting open "office hours" where students can drop in for immediate support, motivation, or problem-solving
- Leveraging AI tools and tracking dashboards to monitor student advancement, pinpoint obstacles, and refine your coaching methodology
- Recording insights, alerts, and tactical updates to keep each student progressing on an accelerated growth path
- Working alongside your team to exchange effective strategies, escalate issues, and continuously refine the coaching framework
What you will NOT be doing
- Instructing lessons, evaluating tests, or distributing homework—our technology manages the academic content
- Presenting lectures or adhering to a fixed curriculum
- Supervising or micromanaging unengaged students—we provide coaching, not constant oversight
- Attending unnecessary meetings or navigating bureaucratic processes
- Operating on autopilot—this team is designed for individuals who aim to excel at a high level and generate real results
Key responsibilities
Produce measurable academic advancement and engagement for virtual students through high-frequency, high-impact mindset coaching within a fully remote, technology-enabled framework.
Candidate requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any field
- At least 1 year of experience coaching, mentoring, or motivating K–8 students
- Demonstrated high performance in any field—academics, athletics, entrepreneurship, or the arts
- Strong virtual presence and capability to establish quick connections with students via Zoom/Google Meet
- Comfortable using dashboards and tech tools to track and adjust performance
- Able to work at least 70% of hours between 7am–10pm EST, Monday to Friday, to align with U.S. time zones
Nice to have
- Background in performance coaching, sports psychology, or motivational work
- Experience working with homeschool or alternative education families
