Youth Engagement Coach   $60,000 USD/year

Description

You've tested yourself—whether in competition, creative work, or professional settings—and now you want that drive to translate into something meaningful. At Alpha Anywhere, you'll coach students to achieve what sounds impossible: falling in love with learning, accelerating their progress, and developing into self-assured, independent thinkers. You'll do all of this while working remotely from any location.

Alpha Anywhere represents the digital advancement of Alpha's transformative educational approach. We combine AI-driven academics with two 1:1 coaching sessions each week to provide what traditional classrooms cannot: individualized mastery, accelerated progress, and sustained engagement. This isn't tutoring. This isn't conventional teaching. This is performance coaching for students ready to learn twice as fast—and who need someone to help them reach that potential.

You'll partner with students in grades 3 through 8 from around the world to generate tangible academic progress through mindset development, not direct instruction. Your mission is to maintain high standards, cultivate belief, and transform school into an experience that feels like achievement. Each session you conduct has significance. Each moment of progress you create matters. If meaningful impact is what you're after, this is it.

What you will be doing

  • Conducting two weekly 1:1 virtual coaching sessions per student, centered on academic target-setting, motivation, and mindset development
  • Hosting open "office hours" where students can join for immediate support, encouragement, or problem-solving
  • Leveraging AI tools and tracking dashboards to monitor student advancement, spot obstacles, and refine your coaching methods
  • Recording observations, alerts, and tactical updates to keep each student on an accelerated growth path
  • Working alongside your team to exchange tactics, flag issues, and continuously refine the coaching framework

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering lessons, evaluating assessments, or distributing assignments—our technology manages the academic content
  • Presenting lectures or adhering to a prescribed curriculum
  • Supervising or overseeing unmotivated students—we coach with purpose, not surveillance
  • Attending redundant meetings or navigating bureaucratic processes
  • Operating on autopilot—this team is designed for individuals who want to excel and create meaningful results

Key responsibilities

Generate measurable academic advancement and student engagement in a virtual environment by providing frequent, high-impact mindset coaching within a fully remote, technology-enabled framework.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any field
  • At least 1 year of experience coaching, mentoring, or motivating K–8 students
  • Proven high performance in any field—academics, athletics, entrepreneurship, or the arts
  • Strong virtual presence and ability to connect with students quickly over Zoom/Google Meet
  • Comfortable using dashboards and tech tools to track and adjust performance
  • Able to work at least 70% of hours between 7am–10pm EST, Monday to Friday, to align with U.S. time zones

Nice to have

  • Background in performance coaching, sports psychology, or motivational work
  • Experience working with homeschool or alternative education families
