Campus Coordinator   $90,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is an in-person role based at one of our campus locations.

You are the individual who ensures everything operates seamlessly. A smoothly functioning campus fosters student safety, staff concentration, and parental confidence. This outcome is never accidental. It results from someone quietly coordinating countless details daily—with precision, responsiveness, and attention.

Alpha is developing one of the world's most ambitious educational models. We integrate demanding academics, technology-driven instruction, and elevated expectations for both students and staff. This position ensures that the non-instructional aspects of campus life meet the same standards as our academic programs.

In this capacity, you control the operational pulse of the campus. Your responsibilities encompass community communication, safety protocols, facilities management, logistics, and daily technology administration. At any given time, you might coordinate an emergency drill, troubleshoot a technology issue, onboard new personnel, or respond to a parent inquiry. Your work extends beyond maintenance—you build institutional confidence.

This is a practical, on-campus position suited for someone who excels in fast-paced settings, remains composed under stress, and commits to exceptional service standards. If you seek a role where your actions directly influence student safety, staff productivity, and parental trust, this opportunity provides genuine authority and measurable impact.

What you will be doing

  • Acting as a central contact for parents, students, and staff, maintaining clear, prompt, and professional communication
  • Directing campus safety functions, including entry protocols, health responses, emergency drills, record-keeping, and parent notifications
  • Supervising daily campus functions such as attendance tracking, facilities management, transportation arrangements, and administrative workflows
  • Assisting with onboarding and orientation for incoming staff to facilitate seamless operational integration
  • Administering student devices and campus technology systems, serving as the on-site technical contact and Google Administrator

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering classroom instruction or overseeing academic programs
  • Mentoring Guides or contributing to curriculum design
  • Operating within a limited, single-task administrative capacity
  • Remaining desk-bound with routine, unchanging responsibilities
  • Escalating issues without taking ownership or driving solutions

Key responsibilities

Deliver smooth, secure, and effective campus operations that continuously enhance the experience and satisfaction of students, staff, and parents.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in any discipline
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in office coordination, facilities management, site operations, or comparable operational functions
  • Proficiency with fundamental technology troubleshooting, device oversight, and account administration
  • Excellent communication abilities with capacity to interact professionally with parents, staff, students, and external partners
  • Capability to handle multiple competing priorities while preserving accuracy and thoroughness
  • Availability to work on-site at one of our campuses: Greenwich, CT; Bethesda, MD; Malibu, CA; Boston, MA; Kirkland, WA; South Bay, CA — or willingness to relocate
  • Authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship
