Campus Operations Coordinator   $90,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is an in-person role located at one of our campuses.

You are the person who ensures everything functions seamlessly. A campus that runs well creates an environment where students feel secure, staff remain productive, and parents place their confidence in the institution. This outcome is not accidental. It results from someone consistently managing countless moving pieces each day—with precision, responsiveness, and dedication.

Alpha is constructing one of the world's most forward-thinking educational models. We integrate demanding academic standards, technology-driven instruction, and elevated expectations for both students and staff. This position ensures that the operational components of campus life meet the same caliber as our academic programs.

In this capacity, you control the operational pulse of the campus. Your portfolio includes community engagement, safety protocols, facilities oversight, logistics coordination, and on-site technology management. At any given moment, you might facilitate an emergency preparedness exercise, troubleshoot a technical issue, guide a new employee through orientation, or respond to a parent inquiry. You are not merely maintaining systems—you are building institutional trust.

This is a practical, campus-based position for someone energized by fast-paced settings, composed under stress, and committed to excellence in execution. If you seek work where your choices tangibly influence student safety, staff productivity, and family confidence, this role delivers genuine authority and measurable impact.

What you will be doing

  • Acting as a principal contact for parents, students, and staff, providing clear, prompt, and courteous communication
  • Leading campus safety functions, including entry monitoring, medical response, emergency drills, record-keeping, and family notifications
  • Supervising daily campus functions such as attendance tracking, facility requests, transportation arrangements, and administrative workflows
  • Facilitating onboarding and orientation for incoming staff to promote seamless operational alignment
  • Administering student technology and campus systems, functioning as the on-site technical contact and Google Administrator

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering classroom instruction or directing academic content
  • Mentoring Guides or contributing to curriculum design
  • Operating within a limited, specialized administrative capacity
  • Performing routine, unchanging desk-based duties
  • Delegating challenges without taking accountability or seeing them through

Key responsibilities

Maintain seamless, secure, and productive campus operations that continuously enhance the experience and confidence of students, staff, and parents.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in any field
  • At least 1 year of experience in office coordination, facilities support, site operations, or a similar operational role
  • Comfort with basic technology troubleshooting, device management, and account administration
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage parents, staff, students, and vendors professionally
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
  • Available to work in-person in one of our campuses: Greenwich, CT; Bethesda, MD; Malibu, CA; Boston, MA; Kirkland, WA; South Bay, CA — or willing to relocate
  • Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
