Campus Operations Coordinator   $90,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This position requires full-time in-person presence at one of our campus locations.

You are the individual who ensures everything functions seamlessly. A smoothly operating campus creates an environment where students feel secure, staff remain productive, and parents maintain confidence in the institution. This outcome is never accidental. It results from someone consistently managing countless operational details each day—with precision, speed, and attention.

Alpha is constructing one of the world's most forward-thinking educational models. We integrate demanding academics, technology-powered instruction, and elevated standards for both students and staff. This position ensures the operational infrastructure of the campus performs at the same level of excellence as our academic programs.

In this capacity, you control the operational pulse of the campus. Your responsibilities span community engagement, safety protocols, facility management, logistics coordination, and daily technology administration. At any given moment, you might be organizing an emergency drill, troubleshooting a technology issue, welcoming a new team member, or responding to a parent inquiry. Your role extends beyond maintenance—you generate trust and reliability.

This is an active, on-campus position designed for individuals who excel in fast-paced settings, maintain composure during challenges, and commit to exceptional service standards. If you seek a role where your actions directly influence student safety, staff productivity, and parent confidence, this opportunity provides genuine responsibility and measurable impact.

What you will be doing

  • Acting as a central contact for parents, students, and staff members, maintaining clear, prompt, and professional correspondence
  • Overseeing campus safety functions including entry protocols, medical incidents, emergency exercises, record-keeping, and family notifications
  • Supervising daily campus activities such as attendance tracking, facility management, transportation arrangements, and administrative logistics
  • Facilitating onboarding and orientation for new employees to ensure seamless operational integration
  • Administering student technology and campus systems, serving as the on-site technical contact and Google Administrator

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering classroom instruction or overseeing academic programming
  • Mentoring educational staff or directing curriculum initiatives
  • Operating within a limited, specialized administrative capacity
  • Performing routine, static tasks from a fixed workspace
  • Delegating challenges without personal accountability or follow-through

Key responsibilities

Deliver seamless, secure, and effective campus operations that continuously enhance the experience and confidence of students, staff, and families.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in any discipline
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in office administration, facility operations, site management, or comparable operational capacity
  • Proficiency with fundamental technology troubleshooting, device oversight, and system administration
  • Excellent communication abilities with capacity to interact professionally with parents, staff, students, and external partners
  • Capability to juggle competing priorities while preserving accuracy and thoroughness
  • Available for in-person work at one of our campus locations: Greenwich, CT; Santa Barbara, CA; Malibu, CA; Boston, MA; Kirkland, WA; South Bay, CA — or prepared to relocate
  • Authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship
