Campus Operations Coordinator   $90,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is an in-person role located at one of our campuses.

You are the individual who ensures everything functions properly. A smoothly running campus means students feel secure, staff remain productive, and parents have confidence in the school. This outcome is not accidental. It results from someone quietly managing hundreds of details daily—with precision, responsiveness, and attention.

Alpha is developing one of the world's most ambitious educational models. We integrate rigorous academics, technology-driven instruction, and elevated expectations for both students and staff. This position ensures that the operational aspects of campus life match the excellence of our academic programs.

In this capacity, you control the operational pulse of the campus. You handle community communication, campus security, facilities management, logistics coordination, and daily technology administration. At any given moment, you might coordinate a safety exercise, troubleshoot a device problem, help onboard a new team member, or respond to a parent inquiry. Your role extends beyond maintaining operations—you build institutional confidence.

This is a practical, on-campus position suited to someone who excels in fast-paced settings, remains composed under pressure, and is committed to maintaining high service standards. If you seek work where your actions directly influence student safety, staff productivity, and parent satisfaction, this role provides genuine ownership and measurable impact.

What you will be doing

  • Acting as a central contact for parents, students, and staff, providing clear, prompt, and professional correspondence
  • Directing campus safety functions, including facility access, health event management, emergency drills, record-keeping, and parent updates
  • Supervising daily campus functions including attendance tracking, facility coordination, transportation logistics, and administrative office operations
  • Assisting with staff onboarding and orientation to facilitate seamless integration into campus workflows
  • Administering student technology and campus devices, serving as the primary on-site technology contact and Google Administrator

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering classroom instruction or overseeing academic teaching
  • Mentoring Guides or contributing to curriculum design
  • Operating in a limited, specialized administrative capacity
  • Performing routine, predictable desk work with minimal variety
  • Redirecting issues to others without taking ownership or driving resolution

Key responsibilities

Deliver seamless, secure, and effective campus operations that continuously enhance the experience and satisfaction of students, staff, and parents.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in any field
  • At least 1 year of experience in office coordination, facilities support, site operations, or a similar operational role
  • Comfort with basic technology troubleshooting, device management, and account administration
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage parents, staff, students, and vendors professionally
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
  • Available to work in-person in one of our campuses: Piedmont, CA; Boston, MA; Miami Beach, FL; Greenwich, CT; South Bay (LA), CA; Bethesda, MD; La Jolla (San Diego), CA; Boca Raton, FL; Santa Barbara, CA — or willing to relocate
  • Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
