Youth Development Coach   $60,000 USD/year

Description

  • Hybrid AZ · W2 · $60K/yr

Licensed teachers are invited to leave traditional classroom management behind and focus on transforming students' lives.

Imagine a teaching role where lesson plans, lectures, and grading are no longer your focus—replaced by a full commitment to mentoring young people into confident, self-reliant individuals.

Unbound Academy has reimagined what teaching means. This hybrid position supports a tuition-free Arizona virtual charter school that eliminates busywork in favor of experiential learning and prioritizes personal development. Students handle core academics on their own in two concentrated hours daily using AI-powered platforms. The remainder of their schedule is devoted to acquiring practical skills through structured workshops, coaching sessions, and self-directed exploration.

Your responsibilities will not include delivering scripted content or monitoring a virtual classroom for compliance. Instead, you'll facilitate dynamic online sessions designed to push students to think critically, innovate, collaborate, and mature. Your mentorship will guide them through storytelling, entrepreneurship, wellness practices, and analytical reasoning while cultivating independence, self-assurance, and executive function skills.

This position is not suited for educators attempting to recreate conventional schooling in a digital format. It is designed for licensed teachers prepared to relocate to Arizona, operate within a hybrid framework, and support students in ways that genuinely equip them for the future. If you are finished with administrative tasks that distract from impact and are prepared to pursue the most purposeful work of your professional life, continue reading.

  • Working alongside other educators to design and refine project-based learning initiatives

  • Instructing core academic content; adaptive AI tutors manage those subjects
