Student Success Coach   $60,000 USD/year

Description

  • Hybrid AZ · W2 · $60K/yr

Licensed educators ready to move beyond classroom management and into transformative student mentorship will find purpose here.

Imagine a role where lesson planning, lectures, and grading no longer consume your time—replaced instead by dedicated focus on coaching students to become self-assured, capable individuals.

Unbound Academy redefines education intentionally. This hybrid position serves a fully virtual, tuition-free Arizona charter school where hands-on learning replaces worksheets and personal development takes priority. Core academics are completed independently by students through AI-powered tools in just two focused hours daily. Their remaining time is dedicated to building practical skills via guided workshops, personalized coaching, and exploratory learning.

You won't deliver scripted content or monitor a virtual classroom. Instead, you'll facilitate dynamic online sessions that push students to think critically, create meaningfully, collaborate effectively, and develop holistically. Your mentorship will guide them through storytelling, entrepreneurship, wellness, and complex problem-solving while cultivating independence, self-confidence, and strong executive function.

This position does not suit educators attempting to recreate conventional schooling online. It requires licensed teachers prepared to relocate to Arizona, engage in a hybrid work model, and support students in ways that genuinely equip them for life beyond school. If classroom busywork no longer fulfills you and you're prepared for your most impactful professional work yet, continue reading.

  • Working alongside peer educators to design and refine project-based learning experiences iteratively

What you will NOT be doing

  • Instructing core academic subjects; adaptive AI tutors manage those
  • Presenting scripted lectures or operating within a traditional classroom framework
  • Evaluating worksheets, assigning homework, or developing standardized lesson plans
