Virtual Learning Facilitator   $60,000 USD/year

Description

IMPORTANT NOTE: This role is hybrid and requires you to be physically located in Arizona.

Licensed educators: if you're ready to move beyond school management and focus on transforming student lives, this is for you.

Imagine a role where lesson plans, lectures, and grading no longer define your day—where your primary focus is mentoring young people to become self-assured, capable individuals.

Unbound Academy has redesigned what teaching means. This hybrid position supports a tuition-free, fully virtual Arizona charter school that trades worksheets for experiential learning and centers on personal development. Students tackle core academics independently via AI-powered platforms in two concentrated daily hours. The remainder of their day is dedicated to cultivating practical skills through facilitated workshops, coaching sessions, and exploratory projects.

Your role will not involve delivering scripted content or monitoring a virtual classroom. Instead, you'll facilitate dynamic online sessions designed to push students to think critically, create, collaborate, and evolve. You'll guide them through storytelling, entrepreneurship, wellness, and problem-solving while fostering independence, self-confidence, and strong executive function.

This position is not intended for educators seeking to replicate conventional schooling via Zoom. It's designed for licensed teachers prepared to relocate to Arizona, engage in a hybrid work model, and support students in ways that genuinely equip them for life ahead. If you've moved past classroom busywork and are ready for the most impactful work of your teaching career, continue reading.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Instructing core academic subjects; adaptive AI tutors manage those areas
  • Presenting scripted lectures or overseeing a conventional classroom structure
  • Assessing worksheets, distributing homework, or developing standardized lesson plans
