Waypoint Academy is redefining K-12 education by replacing traditional lecture formats with adventure-driven life skills training and AI-powered personalized academics. Instead of sitting passively while instructors lecture, students develop public speaking competence on hiking trails, cultivate leadership through collaborative challenges, and progress academically at twice the typical pace using individualized learning software.

This role is about coaching, not conventional teaching. You will guide K-12 learners to unlock their capabilities through experiential outdoor workshops and motivational goal-setting sessions. Your focus will be facilitating nature-integrated activities that develop tangible competencies—concentration, communication, collaboration—rather than delivering traditional lessons. Educators who envision a fundamentally reimagined approach to schooling excel in this environment. You will witness measurable, immediate transformation as students shift from disengaged participants to self-assured high achievers.

Dripping Springs combines Hill Country scenery with proximity—just 30 minutes from Austin's innovation hub, renowned music venues, and culinary excellence. Expect over 300 sunny days annually, access to Barton Springs, and year-round outdoor recreation.

Guide their development. Shape the experience. Submit your application today.
