Family Engagement Coordinator   $75,000 USD/year

Description

Every email you write, event you organize, and conversation you facilitate will directly shape whether a family chooses Alpha for their child's education. This position is designed for someone who values accuracy, genuine connection, and consistent follow-through—and who recognizes that excellent execution of details builds lasting trust.

Alpha is constructing the world's most ambitious educational model. Our campuses integrate demanding academics, technology-enhanced instruction, and elevated standards for students and staff alike. The admissions process is where this commitment becomes tangible. Families require more than simple answers; they seek clarity, assurance, and evidence that Alpha is meaningfully different.

In this position, you control the complete journey for prospective families from initial interest forward. You will address inquiries promptly and with care, arrange campus tours and shadow experiences, keep applicant data immaculate, and help parents understand how Alpha operates and whether it aligns with their needs. You are not handling paperwork behind the scenes—you are actively influencing enrollment decisions.

This is a dynamic, campus-based role suited to someone who excels at managing competing demands without losing focus. If you are committed to excellence, clear communication, and empowering families to make well-informed choices, you will discover genuine responsibility and meaningful impact here. If that resonates with you, we want to hear from you.

What you will be doing

  • Replying to inquiries from prospective families within 24 hours with precision, warmth, and messaging consistent with Alpha's values
  • Organizing admissions events, campus tours, and student shadow days, handling logistics through to post-visit follow-up
  • Maintaining applicant data with full accuracy in CRM and admissions platforms
  • Conducting meetings with families to clarify Alpha's educational approach, respond to questions, and capture key insights
  • Collaborating with campus staff and admissions colleagues to ensure pipeline continuity and momentum

What you will NOT be doing

  • Determining admissions outcomes or establishing enrollment policies
  • Delivering classroom instruction or overseeing curriculum design
  • Pursuing families using high-pressure sales methods or scripted pitches
  • Operating within ambiguous or slow-moving procedural frameworks

Key responsibilities

Deliver a polished, high-conversion admissions experience that transforms prospective interest into committed enrollment, ensuring families feel informed, valued, and enthusiastic about joining Alpha.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
  • At least 2 years of experience in admissions, customer service, or a family-facing operations role
  • At least 1 year of professional written communication experience with families or customers
  • At least 1 year of experience using a CRM, student information system, or comparable database with demonstrated data accuracy
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail across multiple concurrent workflows
  • Availability to work on-site in Austin, TX, or willingness to relocate
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Nice to have

  • Background in education, enrollment management, or school operations
  • Experience supporting admissions events or high-touch onboarding processes
  • Comfort working in fast-changing, tech-enabled environments
