Learning Designer   $60,000 USD/year

Description

This role is designed for individuals who believe educational progress should be faster, more precise, and directly accountable.

2 Hour Learning condenses the content that conventional schools extend across a full day into concentrated, results-driven learning sequences. Success in this model depends on academic choices that are accurate, prompt, and managed from start to finish. Your purpose in this position is exactly that: convert complex student data into actionable direction, and combine it with direct, trust-based student coaching that eliminates obstacles quickly.

You will operate where analytical rigor meets personal engagement. At one point, you're reviewing performance metrics to identify risk signals early and support placement choices with solid rationale. At another, you're working directly with a student, identifying confusion as it happens and guiding them forward before minor challenges escalate into serious setbacks. This is not a role centered on passive observation. You are responsible for measurable results.

This position suits individuals who want to witness the effect of their decisions without delay. If you value autonomy, appreciate direct work with students, and find satisfaction in enabling students to learn twice as efficiently through sharper decision-making, this environment will fit you well.

Consider applying if you want your contributions to register by week's end, not by semester's close.

What you will be doing

  • Review student performance metrics to generate clear, actionable academic summaries that enable prompt interventions
  • Take ownership of academic results for a designated student cohort, covering placement, testing choices, and subsequent actions
  • Facilitate immediate academic support sessions that pinpoint underlying causes and eliminate learning obstacles in the moment
  • Lead post-assessment coaching conversations to distinguish genuine knowledge deficits from procedural errors and prescribe focused follow-up steps
  • Work alongside academic leadership and parent support teams to flag emerging risks and refine existing tools or workflows

What you will NOT be doing

  • Producing reports that remain unused
  • Operating exclusively in the background without any direct student engagement
  • Transferring academic responsibility to teachers, tutors, or families
  • Facilitating broad tutoring sessions that lack specific diagnostic objectives
  • Delaying responses to student challenges for weeks

Key responsibilities

Provide precise, prompt academic analysis and direct student interventions that demonstrably improve learning outcomes for assigned student groups.

Candidate requirements

  • At least 1 year in a coaching, instructional, or training role with a documented outcome or feedback
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience working closely with K–8 students (occasional tutoring does not qualify)
  • Demonstrated experience in data science, education, EdTech, or student support roles combining analysis and interpersonal work
  • Fluent spoken and written communication in Ukrainian and English
  • Strong proficiency in Google Sheets, including lookups, filters, pivot tables, and charts
  • High emotional intelligence with the ability to build trust quickly with students and parents
  • Proven use of AI to analyze data or automate workflows with measurable efficiency gains
