Learning Designer   $60,000 USD/year

Description

If you're convinced education must operate faster, more intelligently, and with genuine accountability, this position is designed for you.

2 Hour Learning compresses learning that conventional schools distribute across a full day into concentrated, high-value cycles. This approach succeeds only when academic choices are accurate, prompt, and completely owned. This role exists precisely to achieve that: transform complex student data into decisive action and combine it with direct, high-trust coaching that eliminates obstacles immediately.

You will operate at the crossroads of data analysis and human engagement. In one instance you're examining performance metrics to identify risk early and support placements with sound logic. In the next, you're working directly with a student, pinpointing confusion on the spot and enabling forward momentum before minor issues escalate into genuine setbacks. This is not a passive observation role. You own the outcomes.

This position is built for individuals who want to witness the results of their decisions right away. If you excel with ownership, enjoy direct student engagement, and value helping children learn twice as efficiently through better choices, you will thrive here.

Apply if you want your contributions to count by week's end, not semester's end.

What you will be doing

  • Examine student performance metrics to generate clear, actionable academic reports that prompt timely interventions
  • Take full ownership of academic results for a designated student cohort, including placement, assessment choices, and follow-through actions
  • Lead fast-response academic rescue sessions that uncover root causes and eliminate learning obstacles immediately
  • Deliver post-assessment coaching sessions to distinguish knowledge deficits from careless errors and prescribe focused next steps
  • Partner with academic leaders and parent support to escalate concerns and refine tools or workflows

What you will NOT be doing

  • Creating reports that remain unused
  • Operating exclusively in the background without student contact
  • Delegating academic ownership to teachers, tutors, or parents
  • Conducting generic tutoring with no clear diagnostic intent
  • Delaying response to emerging student challenges by weeks

Key responsibilities

Provide precise, timely academic analysis and student-facing interventions that demonstrably accelerate learning outcomes for assigned student cohorts.

Candidate requirements

  • Minimum 1 year in a coaching, instructional, or training capacity with documented outcome or feedback
  • Minimum 1 year of direct, hands-on experience working closely with K–8 students (sporadic tutoring does not qualify)
  • Proven experience in data science, education, EdTech, or student support roles that integrate analysis with interpersonal work
  • Fluent spoken and written proficiency in Ukrainian and English
  • Advanced competency in Google Sheets, including lookups, filters, pivot tables, and charts
  • High emotional intelligence with capability to establish trust rapidly with students and parents
  • Demonstrated use of AI to analyze data or automate workflows with measurable efficiency improvements
