Education Enrollment Advisor   $40,000 USD/year

Description

Your success in this role depends on your ability to establish trust with parents within the opening moments of a conversation. This is a position designed for someone who thrives on outreach, maintains disciplined follow-up, and can articulate a new educational model naturally—without depending on scripts. If you tend to avoid phone-based communication or prefer environments without measurable performance indicators, this role will not align with your strengths.

Unbound Academy operates as a virtual, tuition-free public charter school that serves students through a distinctive approach. Students complete their core academic work in a concentrated time block supported by AI-driven learning tools, then dedicate the remainder of their day to developing practical skills through enrichment activities and projects. Your function is to serve as the first substantive touchpoint for families considering this educational path.

On a weekly basis, you will respond promptly to incoming inquiries, shepherd families through the admissions journey, and advance them from curiosity to completed enrollment. You will also attend local events on behalf of Unbound Academy to cultivate new leads and expand community awareness. During quieter enrollment periods, you will support broader school operations while remaining prepared for the next admissions window.

If you are seeking a position where your communication skills, reliability, and personal accountability have a direct influence on student enrollment outcomes, we are interested in speaking with you.

What you will be doing

  • Reaching out to new inbound leads within a 24-hour window and beginning the admissions dialogue by phone
  • Describing Unbound Academy's virtual structure and enrollment procedures using straightforward, accessible language
  • Maintaining disciplined follow-up to advance families from initial inquiry through application to final enrollment
  • Recording all interactions in a CRM system with precise notes, planned next actions, and updated pipeline status
  • Planning and facilitating local recruitment events in Texas or Arizona to introduce the school and generate prospective leads

What you will NOT be doing

  • Allowing inbound leads to remain uncontacted while administrative tasks accumulate
  • Reading from rigid scripts or functioning like a high-throughput call center operator
  • Participating in events without actively presenting or creating new lead opportunities
  • Devoting most of your time to back-office responsibilities during periods of active enrollment demand

Key responsibilities

Transform incoming family interest into qualified, well-informed applicants who successfully complete enrollment at Unbound Academy.

Candidate requirements

  • Located in Arizona with availability for a hybrid work arrangement
  • 1–2 years of customer service or other customer-facing role experience
  • Background working with children or families (such as schools, camps, childcare, tutoring, or comparable settings)
  • At ease making regular phone calls and leading families through multi-stage processes
  • Solid verbal communication abilities with a capacity to establish trust rapidly
  • Working knowledge of CRM platforms or digital lead management tools

Nice to have

  • Background in admissions, enrollment, inside sales, or lead qualification functions
  • Experience organizing or delivering presentations at community events or outreach initiatives
  • Academic coursework or professional background in communications, education, or a related discipline
