Education Enrollment Advisor   $40,000 USD/year

Description

Success in this role depends on your ability to establish trust with parents within the opening moments of a phone call. This is a position for someone who thrives on outreach, maintains disciplined follow-through, and can clearly articulate an innovative learning model without depending on scripted language. If phone-based engagement does not appeal to you, or if you prefer environments without transparent performance indicators, this opportunity will not be suitable.

Unbound Academy operates as a virtual, tuition-free public charter school that delivers education through a distinct model. Students finish their core academic work in a concentrated time block supported by AI-driven tools, then dedicate the remainder of their day to developing practical skills through project work and enrichment activities. You will serve as the first substantive connection for families considering this educational path.

Your typical week will involve prompt responses to incoming inquiries, support for families navigating the admissions process, and advancing prospects from curiosity to completed enrollment. You will also attend local events on behalf of Unbound Academy to cultivate new leads and strengthen community presence. During quieter enrollment periods, you will assist with operational functions while remaining available for the next admission cycle.

If you seek a position where your communication skills, reliability, and accountability directly shape enrollment outcomes, we encourage you to apply.

What you will be doing

  • Reaching out to new inbound leads within 24 hours and beginning admissions discussions via phone
  • Describing Unbound Academy's virtual structure and enrollment procedures using straightforward, accessible language
  • Maintaining disciplined follow-up to advance families through inquiry, application, and final enrollment stages
  • Recording all interactions in a CRM with detailed notes, defined next actions, and current pipeline status
  • Planning and conducting local recruitment events in Texas or Arizona to introduce the school and collect prospective family information

What you will NOT be doing

  • Allowing inbound leads to remain unaddressed while attending to administrative tasks
  • Relying on inflexible scripts or functioning in a high-volume call center environment
  • Participating in events without actively presenting or capturing new leads
  • Devoting most of your time to back-office duties when enrollment activity is high

Key responsibilities

Transform family interest into qualified, well-informed applicants who successfully complete enrollment at Unbound Academy.

Candidate requirements

  • Located in Arizona and available for a hybrid work arrangement
  • 1–2 years of experience in customer service or a comparable customer-facing position
  • Background working with children or families (educational settings, camps, childcare, tutoring, or equivalent)
  • Capable of making regular phone calls and supporting families through multi-phase processes
  • Solid verbal communication abilities with aptitude for quickly building trust
  • Working knowledge of CRM platforms or digital systems for tracking leads

Nice to have

  • Background in admissions, enrollment, inside sales, or lead qualification functions
  • Experience organizing or speaking at community events or outreach initiatives
  • Academic background or coursework in communications, education, or a related discipline
