Description

Most families don't realize a school like this is even an option. Your role is to ensure those who are ready commit with confidence.

Texas Sports Academy operates on a model few institutions dare to pursue: the belief that high-level athletic training and rigorous academics can coexist without compromise. The families who discover us are actively seeking an alternative. They simply need a trusted consultant to help them move forward decisively.

That consultant is you. You lead structured, consultative enrollment conversations — not drip campaigns. You identify the underlying drivers of hesitation, bring them into the open, address them directly, and secure the commitment. You manage a pipeline of 20+ active prospects with clearly defined stages and realistic close probabilities in your CRM. You evaluate your success by conversion outcomes, not volume of touches. When momentum fades, you disqualify — because pipeline integrity is a strategic asset, not a shortcoming.

This position is based on-site in San Antonio, TX or Dallas, TX. If you're located there — or prepared to relocate — submit your application today.

What you will be doing

  • Conducting one-on-one consultative enrollment discussions with prospective families through phone calls, Zoom sessions, and in-person visits — identifying academic needs, athletic goals, and family priorities before presenting any solution
  • Identifying and addressing objections during the conversation — around cost, program structure, or alternative options — rather than deferring them to later
  • Requesting enrollment commitment and finalizing the agreement — the interaction culminates in payment, not a tentative next step
  • Managing a live pipeline of 20+ prospects from start to finish — maintaining accurate stage data and close probability in your CRM, executing timely and tailored follow-up after each touchpoint, and proactively removing stalled opportunities instead of allowing them to linger

What you will NOT be doing

  • Handing off the close to a senior admissions leader or school executive — you are accountable for the full enrollment journey from initial inquiry to signed enrollment
  • Relying on a templated objection response script — every family's concerns are unique, and you'll assess them in the moment
  • Waiting for families to re-engage on their own timeline — you set the pace and guide them toward a definitive decision

Key responsibilities

Generate sustained enrollment growth for Texas Sports Academy by converting qualified prospective families into confirmed, paid enrollments through rigorous consultative sales practices.

Candidate requirements

  • At least 5+ sales or enrollment conversations where you were personally responsible for the final ask
  • Experience managing 10+ concurrent prospects in a defined pipeline
  • Experience using a CRM (HubSpot preferred) to manage pipeline stages, log interactions, and track close probability
  • Experience handling a live prospect objection on price, skepticism, or alternatives
  • Based in or willing to relocate to San Antonio, TX or Dallas, TX; this is an on-site role
  • Eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship

Nice to have

  • Background in K–12 private school admissions, tutoring center enrollment, or learning center sales where a parent is the primary decision-maker and the product requires explanation
  • Experience selling a non-traditional education model (micro school, competency-based learning, hybrid or accelerated academics) to skeptical families
  • Demonstrated pipeline discipline — can show conversion rate improvement over a defined period, with data on how deals were tracked, prioritized, and closed
