Enrichment Teacher   $60,000 USD/year

Description

  • Hybrid AZ · W2 · $60K/yr

We're seeking licensed teachers prepared to move beyond traditional school management and focus on transforming students' lives.

Imagine a role where lesson plans, lectures, and grading no longer define your day—where your primary focus is mentoring young people to become self-assured, skilled individuals.

Unbound Academy has reimagined what teaching means. This hybrid position supports a tuition-free Arizona virtual charter school where hands-on learning replaces worksheets and personal development is paramount. Core academics are completed independently by students in two concentrated hours daily using AI-powered platforms. The remaining time is devoted to building practical skills through facilitated workshops, coaching sessions, and experiential learning.

Your work won't involve delivering scripted content or monitoring a virtual classroom. Instead, you'll facilitate dynamic online sessions that push students to think critically, create meaningfully, collaborate effectively, and develop holistically. Through storytelling, entrepreneurship, wellness initiatives, and problem-solving activities, you'll mentor students while fostering independence, self-confidence, and executive functioning capabilities.

This position isn't designed for educators looking to recreate conventional schooling in a virtual format. We need licensed teachers willing to relocate to Arizona, embrace a hybrid work model, and prepare students for real-world success. If you're finished with classroom administrative tasks and ready for the most impactful work of your teaching career, continue reading.

  • Working alongside fellow educators to design and refine project-based learning initiatives
  • Establishing a secure, energizing environment where students feel acknowledged, challenged, and inspired to develop

What you will NOT be doing

  • Instructing core academic subjects; adaptive AI tutors manage these areas
  • Presenting scripted lectures or operating within a traditional classroom structure
