Enrichment Teacher   $60,000 USD/year

Description

  • Hybrid AZ · W2 · $60K/yr

Licensed teachers seeking to move beyond traditional classroom management and focus on transforming student lives should continue reading.

Imagine a teaching role where lesson planning, lectures, and grading are no longer your primary responsibilities—replaced by a full commitment to mentoring students into confident, self-reliant individuals.

Unbound Academy redefines what teaching means. This hybrid position supports a tuition-free Arizona virtual charter school that prioritizes experiential learning over worksheets and centers personal development above all else. Students handle core academics on their own using AI-powered platforms during two concentrated hours each day. Their remaining time is dedicated to cultivating practical skills through facilitated workshops, personalized coaching, and exploratory activities.

Your role will not involve delivering scripted curriculum or monitoring a virtual classroom environment. Instead, you'll facilitate dynamic online sessions designed to inspire students to think critically, collaborate effectively, and grow holistically. You'll guide them through storytelling exercises, entrepreneurial projects, wellness initiatives, and critical thinking challenges while fostering independence, self-assurance, and executive capabilities.

This opportunity is not designed for educators attempting to recreate conventional schooling in a digital format. It seeks licensed teachers prepared to relocate to Arizona, operate within a hybrid framework, and equip students with competencies that genuinely prepare them for life beyond academics. If traditional classroom routines no longer fulfill you and you're ready to pursue the most impactful work of your teaching career, continue below.

What you will be doing

  • Facilitating engaging virtual workshops centered on essential life competencies including communication, creativity, critical thinking, and self-management
  • Providing one-on-one and small-group mentorship to cultivate student confidence, accountability, and executive function skills
  • Leveraging platform analytics and behavioral indicators to tailor support strategies and monitor individual student development
  • Working alongside peer educators to design and refine experiential, project-based learning opportunities
  • Establishing a supportive, energizing atmosphere where students feel recognized, appropriately challenged, and inspired to advance

What you will NOT be doing

  • Instructing core academic content; adaptive AI tutoring systems manage those subjects
  • Presenting scripted lessons or operating within a conventional classroom structure
  • Evaluating worksheets, distributing homework assignments, or developing standardized lesson frameworks

Key responsibilities

Facilitate student development and life preparedness through leading meaningful, application-focused learning experiences in a hybrid virtual school environment.

Candidate requirements

  • Available to begin at the end of July 2026
  • Valid U.S. teaching certificate from any state, or an expired certificate that qualifies for reinstatement, transferable to Arizona certification
  • Demonstrated ability to engage students effectively through video-based instruction
  • Willing and able to work in a hybrid capacity in Arizona
