Site Operations Coordinator   $90,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is an in-person role located at one of our campuses.

You are the individual who ensures everything functions seamlessly. A well-run campus fosters safety for students, focus for staff, and trust among parents. This outcome is not coincidental. It results from someone methodically coordinating countless operational details each day—with precision, responsiveness, and dedication.

Alpha is developing one of the world's most ambitious educational models. We integrate demanding academics, technology-driven instruction, and elevated expectations for both students and adults. This position ensures the campus's operational infrastructure matches the excellence of our academic programs.

In this capacity, you control the operational pulse of the campus. Your responsibilities span community communication, campus security, facilities management, logistics coordination, and daily technology administration. At any given moment, you might be organizing a safety drill, troubleshooting a device malfunction, integrating a new team member, or resolving a parent inquiry. Your work extends beyond maintenance—you build institutional confidence.

This is a practical, on-campus position suited for someone who excels in fluid environments, maintains composure during challenges, and values delivering exceptional service standards. If you seek a position where your choices directly influence student safety, staff productivity, and parent confidence, this role provides genuine authority and meaningful impact.

What you will be doing

  • Acting as a central contact point for parents, students, and staff members, delivering clear, prompt, and professional correspondence
  • Directing campus safety functions, including entry protocols, health event management, emergency drills, record-keeping, and family notification
  • Supervising daily campus functions including attendance tracking, facilities oversight, transportation arrangements, and administrative logistics
  • Assisting with onboarding procedures and orientation for incoming staff to facilitate seamless operational integration
  • Administering student devices and campus technology systems, functioning as the primary on-site technical contact and Google Administrator

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering classroom instruction or overseeing academic programs
  • Mentoring Guides or directing curriculum design
  • Operating within a limited, specialized administrative function
  • Working from a stationary position with routine, unchanging duties
  • Transferring issues to others without taking ownership or driving resolution

Key responsibilities

Maintain smooth, secure, and effective campus operations that continuously enhance the experience and satisfaction of students, staff, and parents.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in any field
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in office coordination, facilities support, site operations, or a similar operational role
  • Proficiency with basic technology troubleshooting, device management, and account administration
  • Excellent communication abilities with the capacity to interact professionally with parents, staff, students, and vendors
  • Capability to juggle multiple priorities while preserving attention to detail
  • Available to work in-person in one of our campuses: Greenwich, CT; Santa Barbara, CA; Malibu, CA; Boston, MA; Kirkland, WA; South Bay, CA — or willing to relocate
  • Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
