Site Operations Coordinator   $90,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is an in-person role located at one of our campuses.

You are the individual who ensures everything functions seamlessly. A smoothly running campus creates an environment where students feel secure, staff remain productive, and parents maintain confidence in the school. This level of operational excellence doesn't occur spontaneously. It requires someone who is consistently managing hundreds of moving pieces each day—with precision, responsiveness, and attention.

Alpha is constructing one of the world's most ambitious educational models. We integrate demanding academics, technology-enhanced instruction, and elevated standards for both students and staff. This position ensures that the operational infrastructure of the campus performs at the same caliber as our academic programs.

In this position, you control the operational pulse of the campus. Your responsibilities encompass community engagement, campus security, facility management and logistics, and everyday technology support. At any given moment, you might be organizing a safety exercise, troubleshooting a technology challenge, integrating a new team member, or responding to a parent inquiry. Your role extends beyond maintenance—you are building institutional trust.

This is a practical, campus-based position suited to someone who excels in fast-paced settings, maintains composure under stress, and is committed to upholding exceptional service standards. If you seek a position where your actions directly influence student safety, staff productivity, and parent confidence, this role provides genuine accountability and meaningful impact.

What you will be doing

  • Acting as a central contact for parents, students, and staff, delivering clear, prompt, and professional correspondence
  • Overseeing campus security functions, including entry management, health situations, emergency exercises, record-keeping, and parent notifications
  • Supervising daily campus functions such as attendance tracking, facility coordination, transportation arrangements, and administrative logistics
  • Assisting with onboarding and orientation for incoming staff to facilitate seamless operational integration
  • Administering student technology and campus devices, serving as the on-site tech point person and Google Administrator

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering classroom instruction or overseeing academic curriculum
  • Mentoring Guides or directing instructional program design
  • Operating within a limited, specialized administrative capacity
  • Performing static, predictable duties from a fixed workstation
  • Transferring issues to others without taking ownership or seeing them through to resolution

Key responsibilities

Maintain smooth, secure, and effective campus operations that continuously enhance the experience and satisfaction of students, staff, and parents.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in any field
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in office coordination, facilities support, site operations, or a comparable operational capacity
  • Proficiency with fundamental technology troubleshooting, device administration, and account management
  • Effective communication abilities with the capacity to interact professionally with parents, staff, students, and external partners
  • Capability to handle competing priorities while preserving accuracy and thoroughness
  • Available to work on-site at one of our campuses: Greenwich, CT; Bethesda, MD; Malibu, CA; Boston, MA; Kirkland, WA — or prepared to relocate
  • Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
