Site Operations Coordinator   $90,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is an in-person role located at one of our campuses.

You are the individual who ensures everything functions seamlessly. A well-run campus creates an environment where students feel secure, staff remain productive, and parents have confidence in the school. This outcome is not coincidental. It results from someone meticulously managing countless details daily—with precision, responsiveness, and attention.

Alpha is constructing one of the world's most forward-thinking educational models. We integrate demanding academics, technology-enhanced instruction, and elevated standards for both students and staff. This position exists to guarantee that the operational aspects of campus life meet the same benchmark as our academic programs.

In this capacity, you control the operational pulse of the campus. Your scope includes community communication, campus security, facilities and logistics management, and daily technology administration. You might coordinate a safety procedure one moment, troubleshoot a technology issue the next, facilitate new staff integration, or respond to a parent inquiry. Your role extends beyond maintenance—you build institutional confidence.

This is a practical, on-location position designed for individuals who excel in fast-paced settings, maintain composure during challenges, and are committed to upholding exceptional service standards. If you seek a position where your actions directly influence student safety, staff performance, and parent confidence, this role provides substantial autonomy and measurable impact.

What you will be doing

  • Acting as a key contact for parents, students, and staff, delivering clear, prompt, and professional communication
  • Overseeing campus security functions, including entry management, health response, emergency exercises, record-keeping, and parent updates
  • Coordinating daily campus functions such as attendance tracking, facility logistics, transportation arrangements, and administrative operations
  • Facilitating onboarding and orientation for new personnel to ensure seamless adoption of campus procedures
  • Administering student technology and campus systems, serving as the on-site technical point person and Google Administrator

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering classroom instruction or managing educational programming
  • Mentoring Guides or participating in curricular design
  • Operating in a limited, specialized clerical capacity
  • Remaining at a workstation performing routine, unchanging duties
  • Transferring issues to others without taking accountability or achieving resolution

Key responsibilities

Maintain smooth, secure, and effective campus operations that consistently enhance the experience and satisfaction of students, staff, and parents.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in any field
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in office coordination, facilities support, site operations, or a comparable operational role
  • Proficiency with basic technology troubleshooting, device management, and account administration
  • Excellent communication abilities with the capacity to engage parents, staff, students, and vendors in a professional manner
  • Capability to handle multiple priorities while preserving attention to detail
  • Available to work in-person at one of our campuses: Piedmont, CA; Boston, MA; Miami Beach, FL; Greenwich, CT; South Bay (LA), CA; Bethesda, MD; La Jolla (San Diego), CA; Boca Raton, FL — or willing to relocate
  • Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
