Description

You understand what separates content that simply gets published from content that people actively share. If you've built an audience from scratch by shooting, editing, packaging, and publishing your own videos, this is your chance to do it again—this time helping establish a school that trains teenagers to become entrepreneurs.

Founders School is creating a new form of education for driven teens who want to build companies rather than wait until they're adults to begin. We're looking for someone who can transform founder dialogues, student milestones, and entrepreneurial experiences into platform-specific content that attracts attention naturally. Your performance won't be judged by content schedules, brand standards, or vendor coordination. It will be judged by one metric: whether the audience expands and qualified families apply.

This is a creator position framed as a leadership role. You will personally find stories, craft hooks, shoot footage, edit videos, publish content, and continuously refine work across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and new platforms. AI should already be integrated into how you research, edit, repurpose, and optimize. Every video is a test. Every test reveals something about what ambitious teens and entrepreneurial families want to consume. If you've grown audiences organically, excel in founder-driven settings, and want your work to define the launch of a national brand, we want to see your portfolio. Apply today.

What you will be doing

  • Create founder-driven content yourself by writing, shooting, editing, packaging, publishing, and optimizing videos for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and other creator platforms.
  • Transform founder conversations, student experiences, events, and unedited footage into engaging narratives that ambitious teens and their parents naturally want to watch and share.
  • Execute rapid tests with hooks, thumbnails, titles, formats, editing approaches, posting frequency, and distribution strategies to drive organic audience expansion.
  • Leverage analytics and AI tools to enhance content quality, accelerate production, and strengthen performance with each release.
  • Develop the creator-driven media operation that produces qualified admissions interest through genuine storytelling instead of paid promotion.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Overseeing agencies, production contractors, or teams that produce the content on your behalf.
  • Reviewing creative from a distance instead of personally creating high-impact content.
  • Executing traditional school marketing, corporate branding initiatives, or managing a social media posting schedule.
  • Pursuing superficial metrics or depending on paid advertising rather than earning organic audience expansion.
  • Allocating time to meetings about content instead of actually producing it.

Key responsibilities

Personally develop Founders School's creator-driven media operation to produce 5,000 qualified inbound admissions inquiries within the first 12 months through high-impact, founder-focused content.

Candidate requirements

  • Proven experience in one of the following:
    • Personally grew an audience from zero to millions as a creator or as one of the initial members of a creator team, or
    • Worked directly within a top-tier founder-driven content operation with clear responsibility for content creation and audience development.
  • A portfolio containing 2–3 pieces of content you personally shot, edited, packaged, and published with measurable organic performance.
  • Demonstrated capacity to articulate your direct role in audience growth using metrics such as subscribers, followers, watch time, engagement, shares, or views.
  • Expert hands-on capabilities in scripting, filming, editing, packaging, publishing, and refining creator-driven video content.
  • Strong intuition for founder storytelling and platform-specific content creation.
  • Daily application of AI tools to accelerate research, scripting, editing, repurposing, or performance optimization.
  • Located in, or willing to relocate to, New York, NY within 60 days.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Experience producing content for entrepreneurs, startup founders, or creator-driven businesses.
  • Experience building a media brand or channel from the ground up.
  • Strong grasp of what appeals to ambitious teenagers and young entrepreneurs.
  • Experience converting analytics into repeatable content frameworks.
