You understand what it takes to cultivate a relationship with an individual whose net worth reaches into the billions — and you know how to gain their confidence in the most consequential choice they'll make for their child. That is the essence of this position. If your natural inclination is to "manage applications" or "operate a pipeline," this opportunity is not suited to you. If your natural inclination is to assume complete ownership of a relationship for the long term, this may well be the most significant role of your career.
Founders School is a four-year secondary education program in which teenagers launch genuine businesses with a target of $1M in profit prior to graduation. Annual tuition stands at $150K, and we provide a guarantee: $1M in profit by graduation or full tuition reimbursement. The program begins in New York City in Fall 2026 with an inaugural cohort of 20 students, with plans to scale toward 1,000. Our families rank among the most accomplished and selective individuals globally — many command net worths ranging from hundreds of millions to billions of dollars. Someone must assume full responsibility for each of these relationships, from initial contact through enrollment and beyond.
This role more closely resembles managing investor relations at a premier fund — not conducting admissions at a private institution. You will oversee a portfolio of high-net-worth prospects, guide them through a rigorous process, secure their commitment to a significant decision, and sustain that relationship over multiple years so trust accumulates: they re-enroll, they enroll additional children, they introduce their peers.
Similar to a fund, the calendar follows two distinct rhythms: an active cycle in which you cultivate relationships with prospective families and advance them toward commitment, and a stewardship cycle in which you keep enrolled families engaged, proactively informed, and satisfied enough to renew their confidence and introduce others.
At 6 months, you assume full ownership of the prospective NYC family pipeline — each family maintains a substantive relationship with you, and the heads of school are no longer constrained by relationship management below the highest tier. The Fall 2027 cohort's families have been individually guided from initial interest through enrollment, every enrolled family benefits from a proactive communication cadence, and you have developed the initial iteration of the messaging framework and family-relationship methodology that does not currently exist.
At 12 months, the NYC enrollment process operates through you as a system, not an improvisation — you can articulate the pipeline status, conversion metrics, and the condition of every family relationship at any moment. Enrolled families are renewing their trust and introducing others; retention and referral outcomes are directly attributable to your efforts.
As the program expands toward 1,000 students across multiple cities, you will establish and oversee the enrollment team reporting to you — recruiting, developing, and defining the family experience across all campuses. You are positioned at the foundational stage of the function that will determine whether Founders School attracts the appropriate families to fill its enrollment.
