You understand how to cultivate a relationship with someone whose net worth exceeds a billion dollars—and how to become their trusted partner on one of the most consequential decisions they will make for their child. That is the essence of this role. If your default orientation is to "manage applications" or "optimize a funnel," you will not succeed here. If your instinct is to take complete ownership of a relationship over multiple years, this may be the most rewarding opportunity of your career.
Founders School is a four-year high school where students launch real companies with a target of $1M in profit by the time they graduate. Annual tuition is $150K, backed by a guarantee: $1M in profit by graduation, or full tuition refunded. We open in New York City in Fall 2026 with a cohort of 20 students, with plans to scale toward 1,000. The families we serve are among the most accomplished and sophisticated in the world—many hold net worths ranging from hundreds of millions to billions. Every one of those relationships must be owned, from initial outreach through enrollment and well beyond.
This role resembles investor relations at a premier fund far more than admissions at a traditional private school. You will manage a pipeline of high-net-worth prospects, guide them through a rigorous engagement process, secure their commitment to a significant decision, and sustain the relationship over years so trust deepens: they re-enroll, enroll siblings, and introduce their peers.
Much like a fund, the year divides into two phases: an active season focused on cultivating relationships with prospective families and advancing them toward commitment, and a stewardship phase where you keep enrolled families closely connected, continuously informed, and satisfied enough to renew their trust and bring in others.
Within 6 months, you will own the complete pipeline of prospective NYC families—each one has an established relationship with you, and the school leadership is no longer a constraint on any relationship outside the top tier. Families in the Fall 2027 cohort will have been personally guided from initial interest through enrollment, every enrolled family will receive proactive touchpoints on a defined cadence, and you will have created the foundational messaging and relationship playbook that does not yet exist.
By 12 months, the NYC enrollment funnel will operate as a disciplined system rather than an improvised effort—you will be able to describe the pipeline, the conversion metrics, and the status of every family relationship at any moment. Enrolled families will be renewing their trust and providing referrals; retention and word-of-mouth growth will be measurably attributable to your work.
As the program expands toward 1,000 students across multiple cities, you will build and manage the enrollment team reporting to you—recruiting, training, and defining the family experience at every campus. You are joining at the foundational stage of the function that will determine whether Founders School attracts and enrolls the right families.
