You understand how to cultivate a relationship with a billionaire — and how to guide them through the most significant choice they will ever make for their child. That is this role. If your default approach is to "manage applicants" or "optimize conversion," you won't fit here. If your default is to own a relationship entirely, over many years, this could be the most rewarding position of your career.
Founders School is a four-year high school where teenagers launch real businesses targeting $1M in profit before they graduate. Annual tuition is $150K, backed by a guarantee: $1M in profit by graduation, or full tuition refund. The program begins in New York City in Fall 2026 with 20 students, with plans to grow to 1,000. Our families are among the most accomplished and selective individuals in the world — many hold net worths in the hundreds of millions to billions. Every single one of those relationships must be owned by someone, from initial contact through enrollment and beyond.
This is more akin to managing investor relations at a premier fund — not admissions at a traditional private school. You cultivate a pipeline of affluent prospects, lead them through a substantive evaluation process, secure their commitment on a major decision, and then sustain that relationship over years so trust deepens: they re-enroll, they bring in siblings, they recommend peers.
Like a fund, the annual cycle has two phases: an active period focused on cultivating relationships with prospective families and moving them toward commitment, and a maintenance period dedicated to keeping enrolled families engaged, proactively informed, and satisfied enough to renew their confidence and bring others in.
At 6 months, you own the complete pipeline of prospective NYC families — each one has a real relationship with you, and the heads of school are no longer the constraint on any relationship below the highest tier. The Fall 2027 cohort's families have been personally guided from interest to enrollment, every enrolled family benefits from a proactive touch-point rhythm, and you have developed the initial version of the messaging and family-relationship playbook that does not exist today.
At 12 months, the NYC funnel operates through you as a system, not improvisation — you can describe the pipeline, the conversion rates, and the status of every family relationship at any moment. Enrolled families are renewing their trust and bringing in referrals; retention and referral success are measurably attributable to you.
As the program scales toward 1,000 students and expands to multiple cities, you will build and lead the enrollment team below you — recruiting, training, and defining the family experience across every campus. You are entering on the ground floor of the function that will determine whether Founders School fills its seats with the right families.
