Description

You are not interested in babysitting tickets. Your goal is to own the systems that keep an organization operational. If you have managed endpoint fleets, SaaS access, and procurement under firm deadlines, this position will represent a meaningful step forward. If you gravitate toward slower IT environments where nothing evolves and launch timelines are not your concern, this opportunity will not align.

2 Hour Learning is expanding a new K-12 model driven by AI-powered personalized learning. As campuses launch at a consistent rhythm, the gap between "ready" and "not ready" typically comes down to fundamental operational execution: the correct devices, provisioned and enrolled; the correct SaaS licenses, active and assigned; the correct communication tools, configured and tested.

In this position, you will oversee device procurement from Dell, HP, Apple, and Lenovo; manage MDM (mobile device management) and provisioning workflows; handle SaaS accounts and renewals across 14+ platforms; and implement the campus technology onboarding playbook (including Google Voice, Zoom Phone, and Zoom Rooms). You will document successful processes, refine the SOPs, and leverage AI tools to automate repetitive tasks.

What you will be doing

  • Manage complete device procurement cycles across Dell, HP, Apple, and Lenovo, monitoring lead times and shipments to ensure campuses receive required equipment ahead of launch dates
  • Provision, image, enroll, and manage the lifecycle of student and staff devices via an MDM platform, maintaining precise asset records across all campuses
  • Oversee SaaS accounts, permissions, and licenses across 14+ platforms, anticipating utilization thresholds and renewal deadlines to avoid access interruptions
  • Deploy the new-campus technology onboarding playbook, staging devices, provisioning systems, and setting up Google Voice, Zoom Phone, and Zoom Rooms prior to day one
  • Create and update SOPs, runbooks, and launch checklists, refining them with each campus onboarding and automating routine steps using AI tools

What you will NOT be doing

  • Spending the majority of your time as a queue-driven helpdesk agent measured by ticket throughput
  • Drafting long-term IT architecture or engaging in strategic debates while launch dates are missed
  • Managing ad-hoc purchases without inventory transparency, vendor alignment, or documented specifications
  • Relying on others to document processes (you will ensure launches are repeatable, not reliant on institutional memory)

Key responsibilities

This position ensures that every campus opens and functions on schedule because devices, SaaS access, and launch technology systems are completely provisioned and operational before day one.

Candidate requirements

  • Currently located in the United States and authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship
  • Willing and able to travel periodically to US campuses
  • Experience administering an MDM (mobile device management) platform such as ManageEngine, Jamf, Intune, Mosyle, or equivalent
  • Hands-on experience deploying and supporting end-user devices (laptops or tablets), including provisioning/imaging and troubleshooting
  • Experience administering SaaS platforms, including account provisioning, permissions management, and license management
  • Experience coordinating hardware procurement and delivery logistics and/or running asset tracking workflows
  • Evidence of creating or maintaining operational documentation such as SOPs, runbooks, or playbooks
  • Demonstrated use of AI tools to troubleshoot technical problems or automate repetitive operational workflows

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting a distributed, multi-site environment where inventory, spares, and repairs must be managed across locations
  • Strong track record of building simple automations that reduce manual provisioning and reporting work
  • Experience configuring or administering communication tools such as Google Voice, Zoom Phone, or Zoom Rooms
