Description

You're not interested in answering tickets all day. You want to manage the systems that keep an organization operational. If you've managed endpoint environments, SaaS administration, and procurement under real launch pressure, this position represents a meaningful next step. If you're drawn to slower IT environments where nothing evolves and deadlines belong to others, this won't be the right match.

2 Hour Learning is expanding a new approach to K-12 education driven by AI-powered personalized learning. As campuses open at a consistent pace, the line between "launch-ready" and "not ready" often comes down to operational fundamentals: correct devices, enrolled and provisioned; correct SaaS licenses, assigned and active; correct communication systems, tested and configured.

You will oversee device purchasing from Dell, HP, Apple, and Lenovo; manage MDM (mobile device management) and provisioning processes; administer SaaS subscriptions and renewals spanning 14+ platforms; and carry out the campus technology launch playbook (covering Google Voice, Zoom Phone, and Zoom Rooms). You will capture what succeeds, refine the standard operating procedures, and leverage AI tools to automate recurring tasks.

If you're seeking direct ownership, quantifiable results, and the momentum of an expanding school network, we want to hear from you.

What you will be doing

  • Manage complete device procurement workflows for Dell, HP, Apple, and Lenovo, monitoring lead times and delivery schedules to ensure campuses receive equipment ahead of launch deadlines
  • Provision, image, enroll, and maintain lifecycle management for student and staff devices via an MDM platform, ensuring accurate asset documentation across all campus locations
  • Oversee SaaS account administration, permissions, and license allocation across 14+ platforms, anticipating utilization thresholds and renewal timelines to avoid service interruptions
  • Implement the new-campus technology launch playbook, preparing devices, provisioning platforms, and setting up Google Voice, Zoom Phone, and Zoom Rooms prior to opening day
  • Create and update SOPs, runbooks, and launch checklists, refining them with each campus onboarding cycle and automating routine tasks using AI tools

What you will NOT be doing

  • Working primarily as a ticket-queue helpdesk technician whose performance is tracked by ticket counts
  • Developing long-term IT architecture plans or engaging in strategic discussions while launch dates are missed
  • Managing unplanned purchases without inventory tracking, vendor management, or documented specifications
  • Relying on others to create process documentation (you will ensure launches are repeatable and not reliant on institutional memory)

Key responsibilities

This position ensures that every campus launch and ongoing operation stays on schedule because devices, SaaS access, and core technology systems are completely provisioned and operational before opening day.

Candidate requirements

  • Currently located in the United States and authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship
  • Willing and able to travel periodically to US campuses
  • Experience administering an MDM (mobile device management) platform such as ManageEngine, Jamf, Intune, Mosyle, or equivalent
  • Hands-on experience deploying and supporting end-user devices (laptops or tablets), including provisioning/imaging and troubleshooting
  • Experience administering SaaS platforms, including account provisioning, permissions management, and license management
  • Experience coordinating hardware procurement and delivery logistics and/or running asset tracking workflows
  • Evidence of creating or maintaining operational documentation such as SOPs, runbooks, or playbooks
  • Demonstrated use of AI tools to troubleshoot technical problems or automate repetitive operational workflows

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting a distributed, multi-site environment where inventory, spares, and repairs must be managed across locations
  • Strong track record of building simple automations that reduce manual provisioning and reporting work
  • Experience configuring or administering communication tools such as Google Voice, Zoom Phone, or Zoom Rooms
