Senior Developer   $100,000 USD/year

Description

Are you a Full-Stack Engineer energized by tackling intricate problems and shipping features that drive measurable impact? Join us to create cutting-edge AI-driven products that reshape how individuals learn and develop. Your focus will be on delivering excellence, ensuring our platforms remain scalable, maintainable, and results-oriented.

You'll contribute to products that are revolutionizing education:

  • TeachTap: Uses AI to animate historical figures within a TikTok-inspired learning format.
  • TeachTales: Captivates students through personalized, enchanting storytelling that enhances comprehension.
  • TimeBack: Functions as a learning copilot, integrating with existing applications to proactively guide students.
  • Athena: Employs AI-generated videos and assessments to produce measurable academic results.

This position is designed to generate tangible impact through production-ready software. You'll leverage AI tooling and cloud-native architectures to construct full-stack systems that address significant challenges, not simply complete task lists. You'll be expected to deliver rapidly while maintaining quality, selecting the simplest viable solution that reconciles immediate velocity with sustained maintainability.

If you're prepared to navigate complex technical obstacles and ship impactful capabilities, we want to connect with you.

What you will be doing

  • Design and Deploy Full-Stack Capabilities: Shepherd user stories from concept to deployment; clarify specifications, architect scalable systems, implement backend and frontend logic, validate rigorously, and release to production
  • Identify and Resolve Defects: Trace issues using root cause analysis, address underlying problems (not surface symptoms), and prevent regressions through strategic testing
  • Elevate Code Standards: Evaluate plans and pull requests to enforce clarity, simplicity, and accuracy, preventing technical debt at the source

What you will NOT be doing

  • Crafting pixel-perfect interfaces or intricate backend systems for their own sake
  • Implementing specifications mechanically without grasping the underlying problem
  • Spending hours in repetitive meetings debating roadmaps and priorities or coordinating with others
  • Simply delivering features; you'll be accountable for solving genuine problems

Key responsibilities

  • Leveraging AI to develop software that addresses authentic user needs, deploys quickly, and remains maintainable over time

Candidate requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience developing production code for both frontend and backend of web applications (any framework).
  • Strong ownership: Proven track record of owning entire modules, product features, or teams, beyond isolated task contributions
  • Independent execution: Capacity to unblock yourself, establish your own rhythm, and navigate forward in ambiguous contexts
  • Experience incorporating generative A.I. into your daily development workflow
