Full Stack Developer   $100,000 USD/year

Description

Are you a Full-Stack Developer who excels at tackling complex technical problems and shipping high-impact features? Join us to create cutting-edge AI-powered products that reshape how individuals learn and develop. Your work will prioritize high-quality execution, guaranteeing our solutions are scalable, maintainable, and impactful.

You'll contribute to products revolutionizing education:

  • TeachTap: Uses AI to animate historical figures in an engaging TikTok-style learning format.
  • TeachTales: Captivates students through personalized, enchanting storytelling that enhances comprehension.
  • TimeBack: Functions as a learning copilot integrated with existing applications, actively coaching students.
  • Athena: Employs AI-generated videos and assessments to produce measurable academic results.

This position centers on delivering tangible impact through functional software. You'll leverage AI tools and cloud-native infrastructure to construct full-stack systems that address meaningful challenges, not merely complete task lists. You'll be required to deliver rapidly without compromising quality, selecting the simplest viable solution that balances immediate velocity with long-term sustainability.

If you're prepared to tackle sophisticated technical obstacles and ship impactful capabilities, we want to connect with you.

What you will be doing

  • Develop and Deploy Full-Stack Capabilities: Transform user stories from concept to impact; clarify specifications, architect scalable solutions, implement backend and frontend code, test comprehensively, and deploy to production
  • Identify and Resolve Bugs: Investigate defects using root cause analysis, address the underlying problems (not merely symptoms), and prevent regressions through intelligent testing
  • Elevate Code Quality Standards: Evaluate plans and pull requests to ensure clarity, simplicity, and correctness, preventing technical debt before it accumulates

What you will NOT be doing

  • Creating pixel-perfect interfaces or intricate backends simply for complexity's sake
  • Executing specifications blindly without grasping the underlying problem
  • Trapped in continuous meetings discussing roadmaps and priorities or tracking down colleagues
  • Merely delivering features; you'll be accountable for solving genuine problems

Key responsibilities

  • Utilizing AI to develop software that addresses authentic user needs, deploys quickly, and remains maintainable over time

Candidate requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience writing production code for web applications' frontend and backend (any framework).
  • Robust ownership: Proven experience owning complete modules, product features, or teams, not just contributing isolated tasks
  • Autonomous execution: The capability to unblock yourself, establish your own rhythm, and identify solutions in ambiguous scenarios
  • Experience utilizing generative A.I. in your day-to-day development work
