Description

IMPORTANT NOTE: This position requires in-person attendance at our Austin, Texas campus.

Traditional education focuses on telling students what to think. This position focuses on teaching them how to execute.

Alpha is constructing a fundamentally different type of high school—one where students skip the lectures and rote memorization. Instead, they build, ship, communicate, and grow. They launch projects, experiment with ideas, and cultivate real-world competencies that most adults never acquire. Your responsibility is to ensure they follow through and perform at a high level.

You will engage directly with high school students as they launch businesses, manage projects, and build the confidence, communication ability, and capacity needed to thrive beyond the classroom. You are not here to deliver theoretical instruction. You are here to coach practical execution. You will establish rigorous standards, maintain accountability, and challenge students to produce work that meets professional expectations.

This position suits individuals who have accomplished something substantial outside academic settings—built a product, cultivated an audience, worked in a startup environment, or delivered results in a demanding setting—and wish to leverage that background to develop emerging talent. If you seek a conventional teaching position, look elsewhere. If you want to influence how driven teenagers think, behave, and perform, this opportunity is for you.

If you have achieved tangible results in your career and want to dedicate your time to pushing motivated teenagers toward their full capability, this is your opportunity. Apply now
