What you will be doing

  • Design and lead immersive learning experiences that transform students into strategic content creators
  • Provide personalized mentorship on leveraging AI tools for content development and optimization
  • Transform students' unique passions and expertise into distinctive personal brand identities
  • Develop critical thinking skills around meaningful engagement metrics beyond surface-level popularity
  • Facilitate valuable connections between students and established digital creators
  • Implement battle-tested growth strategies that deliver measurable results in today's competitive social landscape

What you will NOT be doing

  • Recycling yesterday's social media strategies that no longer drive engagement
  • Focusing on superficial metrics that don't translate to meaningful influence
  • Managing the institution's social media presence or marketing efforts
  • Drowning in paperwork and non-instructional tasks

Candidate requirements

  • Proven track record of social media excellence, with demonstrable success in building audiences for yourself or clients
  • Verifiable experience in nurturing and expanding digital communities
  • Comprehensive knowledge of contemporary platform algorithms and engagement strategies
  • Practical proficiency with modern content creation software and AI-assisted tools
  • Exceptional ability to connect with and inspire teenage creators
  • Substantial personal achievement in building your own digital footprint
  • Superior verbal and written communication capabilities
  • Commitment to working on-campus in Austin, TX (relocation support available)
