Alpha Schools replaces traditional lectures and textbooks with AI-driven adaptive learning and mentorship at the student level. Children advance at their own speed. Your role is to help them uncover their strengths, not to deliver predetermined lessons.

What you will be doing
- Building trust and inspiring a limitless mindset as a mentor to K-2 students
- Leveraging AI and adaptive learning platforms to customize educational pathways
- Creating and facilitating life-skills workshops (goal-setting, public speaking, collaboration) that equip students for long-term success
- Cultivating a culture of curiosity, ambition, and continuous growth
- Supporting students in discovering their individual strengths and interests
What you will NOT be doing
- Delivering instruction in core subjects or grading assignments
Candidate requirements
- Available to work on-site at one of our locations: Phoenix, AZ; Austin, TX; Fort Worth, TX; Houston, TX.
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with children ages 4–8 in educational, afterschool, coaching, or comparable settings
- Excellent public speaking abilities, with proven capacity to engage and energize young learners
- Passion for connecting with, inspiring, and motivating K-2 students
- Authorization to work in the US without requiring visa sponsorship
- Willingness to participate in a paid training program at our Austin, TX campus
