The most powerful support you can offer a student who achieved 99% is to insist they reach 100%.

At Alpha, this principle isn't up for discussion—it defines our daily operations. Academic learning happens through self-paced applications, not traditional instructor-led lessons. This model allows you to concentrate on what truly transforms outcomes: facilitating high-impact sessions on public speaking, concentration, and constructive feedback. You'll drive students toward complete goal attainment using live analytics. You'll also develop the Guides working with you. Your resources include performance data, an established methodology, and the executive presence that commands attention from middle schoolers.

A typical morning may begin with individual Guide coaching, analyzing Coachbot metrics and pinpointing cohort performance gaps. Midday brings live student sessions where you execute playbook exercises on feedback exchange. Afternoons focus on motivational interventions: engaging individual students, identifying their intrinsic drivers, and leveraging Alpha's reward architecture (campus currency, performance rankings) to re-engage a reluctant seventh grader. You maintain direct cohort ownership, ensuring your coaching expertise remains grounded in frontline practice.

Three measurable outcomes define your accountability: students demonstrate enthusiasm for school, they progress at double the rate of conventional classrooms, and they acquire practical competencies. Guide coaching begins immediately upon hire. As you demonstrate scalable results, your authority over campus-wide program standards expands.

Uphold the standard. Transform the student. Submit your application today.

What you will be doing

  • Facilitating one-hour structured sessions on core competencies (public speaking, focus, feedback dynamics) for students in grades K-8, using Alpha's established playbook
  • Conducting targeted motivation interventions guided by Coachbot analytics and Alpha's reward framework (campus currency, performance rankings) to achieve 100% goal completion across your cohort
  • Developing Guides through focused coaching on program adherence and standards maintenance, ensuring each session yields concrete next steps
  • Managing your own student cohort while simultaneously building capability in other Guides
  • Monitoring student engagement metrics, completion rates, and Guide effectiveness indicators

What you will NOT be doing

  • Providing direct academic instruction or subject tutoring. App-based learning handles all academic content.
  • Creating original curriculum or session plans. Alpha's playbook serves as your operational framework, allowing you to concentrate on delivery and relationship-building.
  • Accepting 99% completion as sufficient. Maintaining the standard demonstrates your conviction in student capability.
  • Training Guides on instructional methods. Since Guides don't teach traditionally, your coaching addresses motivation, energy management, and accountability systems.

Key responsibilities

Execute Alpha's 3 Promises for every student in your assigned level: they demonstrate enthusiasm for school, they achieve learning velocity twice that of traditional classrooms, and they develop practical life competencies.

  • Professional experience working with youth populations ages 5-14 in educational or developmental contexts
  • Proven ability to leverage data analysis and performance metrics for decision-making and ongoing improvement
  • Current legal authorization to work in the United States

  • Master's degree in Education, Psychology, Organizational Leadership, or related field
  • Experience in athletic coaching, youth camp leadership, or performance-based youth programs where outcomes were tracked and standards rigorously maintained
  • Professional background coaching adults in developmental or instructional coaching roles
  • Documented success improving quantifiable metrics (completion percentages, satisfaction ratings, team outcomes) through direct leadership
