You've never reduced yourself to a content delivery mechanism.

It's facilitating life skills workshops that command K-8 students' full attention, conducting motivation sessions that drive weekly learning goal achievement, and maintaining standards when students attempt to underperform. Academic progression is self-sustaining. You manage the human dimension.

What you will be doing

  • Facilitating one-hour life skills workshops for K-8 students addressing public speaking, concentration, and feedback exchange
  • Administering Test2Pass mastery assessments following each workshop to verify authentic skill acquisition, not passive attendance
  • Conducting daily motivation sessions leveraging student profiles, personal interests, and Coachbot analytics to achieve 100% cohort completion of weekly app progression targets
  • Deploying storytelling techniques, incentive structures (school currency, leaderboards), and individual relationships to overcome student reluctance
  • Monitoring cohort satisfaction metrics toward a 90%+ benchmark on student feedback surveys

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering board-based lectures. Academic advancement occurs through self-directed applications, not your direct instruction.
  • Supervising without purpose. While students work on computers, active engagement defines your function.
  • Compromising standards when students resist. Test2Pass requirements remain firm, independent of individual weekly challenges.
  • Creating curriculum independently — workshop frameworks and lesson structures are supplied; your responsibility is executing them with commanding presence and narrative skill that ensures genuine student comprehension.
  • Handling parent communications, managing enrollment processes, or overseeing facility operations. Those fall under separate roles.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of direct experience working with K-8 (elementary and middle school) age students
  • Strong storytelling and facilitation capabilities — capacity to sustain children's engagement throughout hour-long sessions
  • Willingness to work on-site at Alpha's Brownsville, TX campus
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship

Nice to have

  • Experience as an athletic coach, camp counselor, or youth program leader
  • Demonstrated history of exceptional performance in competitive settings (academic, athletic, or professional contexts)
  • Familiarity with self-paced or application-based educational environments
